"Are you saying God can take oaths and then break them when ever he chooses?" Lucifer shook his head. "Understanding was much different then. My mind, what I am, was a bridge bound to both God's mind and creation. There is no room for interpretation when you share minds." Lucifer glances at the human and sighs. "As my son, Cain was half angel, perhaps. My first son that triggered me to rebel was an angel, and my son who they intended to torture to death before I reclaimed him is also an angel. Even should you believe Cain does not count, the vow was explicitly broken once, twice if intent to kill counts."
Lucifer considers what he has said for a long time. "I do not miss heaven, the creation that is part of me yes, but not heaven." Lucifer shrugs. "I am not materialistic enough to crave a place in that way."
The words felt strange to say but he lets the feeling pass with a smile. "I do not believe I did wrong but I have begun to heal the gulf between my kind and those still in heaven, much to God's disappointment. I am sure he disproves of my methods, but I am used to that response."
