"It's my own fault for wanting to be comfortable all night. You should have seen the actual costume. It was glorious, all soft and roomy like high-end pajamas."

He grooms his own ears a little, sitting up casually, but his nose twitches at the scent of that drink. "I always have a craving for nuts," he says archly. "Did you grow out your vessel's hair for that outfit, or did you get extensions? I rather like the look."
