"We can fly later," she says, and kisses his cheek. "Oh...do you think you can learn this? I know you worry about hurting me when we're different sizes. But I like being with you so much."

Her wings tighten around his and she squirms a little closer against him. "We could just...go out in the woods together. Or to my cave, or the villa. We don't have to stay at the party all night."
