The Lost Unicorn

In the desolation of the Underbelly there is an intersection of alleyways where the shadows of concrete buildings and the awnings and rags which hang from strings in windows darken the hard ground. The foot traffic here is low, but for those wandering or lost in this shady part of the Nexus it seems almost natural to stumble into this crossroads by accident.
It's here in this unassuming darkness that someone has erected a small pen of metal poles and barbed wire scarcely large enough to hold the creature inside. A brilliant white unicorn, its flanks stained red, has been bound by a tight iron chain around the neck to – bizarrely – a pomegranate tree which grows up from a crack on the concrete. The animal is laying down, its legs curled beneath it, its head held up for the tautness of its chains.
The creature is completely unguarded, from the looks of it. It would be simple to steal some of its incredibly potent magical parts – its blood, its mane, even its horn. An enterprising person might even be tempted to take the whole unicorn. After all, how hard could it be to lead it away?
((The unicorn may know certain things about your character. Please check her profile to find out! If you tag into this thread, I will (or you may!) send a PM to discuss meta permissions and boundaries. If you don't reply or can't decide, I will assume no meta permissions are granted and happily only roleplay with the knowledge the unicorn learns over the course of roleplay. Thanks in advance!))
