The Nexus is a place where the strange so often becomes the normal. Sure, occasionally you see yourself face to face with a childhood icon.  And maybe you'll pause and take the time to pay attention, but by and large ... this hub gets all kinds of people, doesn't it?

The sound of a bare, size eleven foot with two bulbous toes slaps against a sidewalk in the forum accented by the 'krrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr' of rolling skateboard wheels.  The rider glides along easily.  Afixed on his head are giant DJ-style headphones that are bright orange in color.  The volume is turned up loud enough to hear some early 90's hip-hop squeaking out from around the cups

You'll see the this skateboarder mostly trying to unwind, but he does fire off the occasional trick.  'Snap' is the sound the board makes as he hops and kicks the board to spin under his feet.  The wheels hit the ground cleanly and keep him rolling around through the forum.  

He's been going for hours like this.  No doubt many people have watched him as they've gone into various buildings and come out to find him still there, content to shred until he falls over.

By the way, did we mention that the bodacious dude tearing up the pavement is a six foot tall anthropomorphic turtle?
