Deputies Wanted!

rosco_coltraneIf your character's world has lemonade stands, this might remind them a bit of that. Rosco has set up a long table in the Plaza. He sits at the middle of the table. Another chair, empty, sits across from him. A stack of papers is on Rosco's right. On the left is a large pitcher of ice tea, surrounded by cups and small plates of cookies. A banner is strung up above the table, reading "For a More Lawful Nexus! Apply TODAY to be a Deputy!"
Rosco looks happy and confident. He knows all about good deputies, having been one himself. As people walk by, he calls out to them.
"Hey! Don't you think the Nexus needs some actual law? Come on over here! Hey, you! How would you like to be a deputy? All you got do is fill out this tiny information form and convince me you'd be a good, honest, and OBEDIENT officer of the law! So, how about it people? Who's gonna be a deputy?"
