Normally when one opens the blue door to 221 B Baker Street they are presented with a hallway and the interior of the corridor that leads up the stairs.

Normally.

But when Sherlock Holmes, clad in his normal dark gray coat and blue scarf absently opened up the door and stepped through, shutting it without a second thought, he was more than mildly surprised to see that the interior was now a plaza with other people in it, and all sorts of things that usually weren't present outside of Mrs. Hudson's door.

The detective blinked, and tried to remember when he'd last slept.

Nope, he actually had gotten a proper sleep the night before, having finished a case. He'd even woken up late. Perhaps he'd been hit with some kind of gas? He sniffed the air, could be odorless.

Oddly enough though, this didn't feel like a dream. It had logical consistency. Well, if that logical consistency continued to hold up, he was going to have a LOT of questions.

Many others of his ilk like to cause a scene or enter with a bang - Stolas, however, is not one for dramatics. He's also one for studying a situation before stepping into it.

He doesn't immediately ask any questions - instead, he watches the Nexus-goers like someone would people watch. Perhaps a little more intently than some would like, leaving them feeling like an owl is watching them from somewhere. The custom of asking a question makes itself shown quickly, and people like it when customs or traditions are followed. He might as well.

Stolas' voice is on the deeper end of the scale, but clear and calm, sounding like a college professor. "What constellations have you always been able to find, when the sky allows it? Why do you think it's easy for you to find this particular one?"

Sam is hanging out on a battered old couch at the Plaza with his laptop resting in his lap as he is doing some research or just doing some general reading. He slowly closes the laptop, and he places it on the arm of the couch and he slouches back into his seat. He takes a deep breath. "What's the strangest thing you've researched?" He asks with a smile forming on his face, and he then looks at the laptop. "Or the weirdest thing you stumbled across while reading."

He stretches out his long legs, and he rests his arm on the back of the couch. "And did you find the topic you read to be worth your time?" And he follows this up with a long yawn, and he then looks over to his empty coffee mug. It was a long night, and despite the smile on his face he looks tired and worn.

"And..." Sam's brow crinkles as he starts to forget what he was about to say. "...Man I could use a good day's sleep."
