Ben Solo has adjusted well to living in the Nexus. He goes out in public more often than he did as a newcomer, he's reluctantly attended a few social events there, and he's had two projects he kept himself busy with. Between both of them, they took too many cups of coffee from the Crossroads Cafe to count, careful negotiations with the resident Jawa clan, and long hours spent working with the damaged kyber crystal Rey gave him. He's exhausted from all that work.

But he's finished, after all that hard work, and he looks very proud of himself for it.

Ben's standing beside an old warehouse in the industrial area that he's set about renovating into a small spaceport,. The paint's new and the windows repaired. A sign labeled Aphelion Spaceport lists services, discounts, and prices offered. Ben can handle basic to advanced repair jobs easily enough, but his real service is modifying spacecraft and other vehicles so they can travel to and from the Nexus more easily. While he's most experienced handling ship models from his home galaxy, Ben is confident that he can handle other universes' vehicles with some guidance the first time.

While he can't come or go himself, he's in a good position to help others move between the strange interdimensional crossroads and their home universes more easily. Ben also likes the idea of handling a spaceship again, even if he won't be able to fly one. Having the opportunity to be around them is enough to satisfy him. To celebrate opening, he's set out a small table with lemonade and some snacks for visitors: crackers, popcorn, and sugar cookies.

There's another small change if anyone looks closely at Ben as he's moving about. Ben's blaster is still with him. The metal sword he's been carrying for the past few weeks is gone, though, replaced by his new lightsaber. Not new completely, since while the hilt is new the kyber crystal inside is old. It had been finished just that morning. He hasn't forgotten arrangements he's made.

At the moment, however, Ben is focused on addressing people who approach the new store, clearing his throat to ask his question.

"What's the most appealing thing about the Nexus to you? For the sake of a contrast, what is the least?"
