This wasn't a typical Birthday. Even for one Red Paladin, or one diplomat from the Blade of Marmora. Well, one and the same.
Keith of course expected a typical surprise Birthday party from his now very large family - Mom and the Paladins with their families and the Blades - somehow - and yeah, he had a very large family now, even without making his own, which he had no plans of doing, for now, because where'd that even fit with soooo many people already, when he'd he find time to love even more people? - even in the middle of the Marmora mission, yes - but that's not what happened.
What happened is that Black and Blue Lions appeared in the galaxy, even though they haven't been seen here for three years now. Naturally, Keith's reached out to Black, just to say 'hello'.
And look where that's brought him.
He was now sitting inside Black, on the long familliar and now long missed pilot seat. And outside was a - planet? He wasn't sure, he hasn't watched the arrival here, after all, just found himself here all of a sudden - that he didn't know yet, which was normal. So many habitable planets out there, after all.
He gets something on his feed, some communication, and it seems to be from inside Atlas, so he reads it without hesitation or doubt. Huh. Nexus. Reality between realities, but not like that, not like the other thing. Or something.
Huh.
Alright. He knows enough now, he's sure.
The Blue Lion has already landed in the Plaza. It seems to be waiting for someone, but whoever she's waiting for, it's not Keith. So Keith decides to take Black for a little ride, well, flying ride, around Nexus, instead, to see what the Nexus is like.
Once he sees anyone out there while on this ride, Keith carefully lands, opens the Black Lion's mouth, goes outside, and asks,
"I hope you know it's not an attack? I'm not attacking. And the Lion's not attacking. Chill, etc, as any Blue would say."
He holds his arms up, just to show for sure.
"Anyway, just so you know."
"What's this place like? I've just heard it's peaceful? Hopefully."
The Lions are both pretty huge, though not even one tenth as big as IGF-Atlas, whom most people in Nexus might've seen already because it is pretty humongous and hard to miss.
"Oh, and my name's Keith," Keith adds, in such a tone as if many people often nagged him that he should introduce himself on diplomatic missions, first. "I used to fly the Black Lion," he says, pointing at said robot with his finger, as if there could be any doubt. "A few years ago, that is. I guess I might again, since he said so."
Yeah, he talks about the mechanical lion like he'd talk about any person he knows well, it seems. If anybody says 'hi' to the Black Lion that is currently in the process of sitting down leisurely, first, or anything like that, Keith definitely won't find that weird, even a little bit.
Keith's not in his Voltron Paladin armour, he's not even sure his armour still exists. And that's fine as far as he's concerned.
[ OOC: Forward dated to tomorrow or something, because idk how much time I'll have tomorrow. XD Keith is from season 8 epilogue of V:LD, so all the spoilers possible. /ooc.]
