An unintentional break

It's been a while since Janet's been in the Nexus. She assumes it's because even showing up the first time broke her brain, with how carefully organized and logical she lives her life. Being an economist and FBI agent everything in her world is facts and figures. It's only since living with someone whose job is to investigate deviant behavior that she's started looking at things differently and even then he's still pretty orderly.
When she literally stumbles into the Plaza again she assumes there's a reason. It's been a hectic last few months with her boss muttering things about retirement, her partner rumored to be next in line for his job, and Janet getting back to 100 percent after being shot in the line of duty. She's just been happy to get up in the morning and go to work. But she hasn't really taken a break at all, focused on physical therapy and teaching at the FBI Academy in lieu of closing cases. The closest she's come is flying down to Miami to work a case. Which got weird when she found out that the SAC in the Miami office is someone she had a drunken one-night stand with in San Francisco.
Yeah, she probably needs a break. She shrugs, goes to find herself a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll, and once she's procured both pulls up an available bench and decides to not complain. She at least knows that she'll go home eventually so she's not worried like she was last time. "What do people do to relax?" she asks out loud, knowing that her preferred methods of watching drug smuggling documentaries and drinking wine in the bathtub are not normal answers.
"Also... Is it weird to call the guy you slept with five years ago and just happened to run back into...?"
