This isn't Sylar's first day in the Nexus. He's been around, back and forth, trying to be as inconspicuous as a six-foot-two man in nearly all black clothing can be. He figures that since he's not a dinosaur or something, it's probably fine.
But something happened back home, and he's looking way more antsy than usual. It's past time to ask a question, anyway. Maybe someone here would understand? He addresses the Plaza after hemming and hawing about it for a couple minutes. He shoves his hands into his pockets before he says anything, but it doesn't entirely stop his fidgety-ness. He still shifts on his feet and rolls his shoulders.
"I've got an awkward situation- all my own fault. And I could use some advice. Usually, I don't really care if things are uncomfortable, but I'm really trying to do better lately, so-"
He shakes his head. This is already not going well. Eh, it's too late now.
"So, there's this girl. I've been- frankly- awful to her. Stole her power, killed her biological Dad. -and Mom. Tried to kill her adopted parents, chased her like a slasher villain in her high school. And home. Killed her friend. ...impersonated another friend, tried to kill her uncle." He winces slightly and shakes his head. He could honestly keep going, but he thinks he's made his point.
"Like I said, I'm trying to do better now. And I was going to leave her alone, except she sorta became famous. And we think she might be kidnapped now, and she needs help. It'd be better if it wasn't help from me, obviously, but nobody else is following up on this. What do you think? Should I go help her, even if she'll hate it? Look into it more? Try to get someone else's attention?"
