Lucifer sighs and smiles. "I may be infinite by comparison but I have had moments in my existence when I have felt the same, perhaps this is too right to be real."

It had hit him sometimes, especially with Balthazar and leaving behind the idea that the people he loved, all human in the past, would die. He would still lose but not everything, for once.

"I am not bound by the limits of a mortal body. I can do many things that humans cannot." He was still stuck on the nostalgia of the humans he had loved and shrugged. "A few humans have been loved enough that I bring them along. They have seen things no other human has."
