Aal's got a stack of various flyers under a rock of a paperweight along with a few other things on a foldable table with a red and white table cloth being watched over by her beloved blonde mate. Whom even sitting his six foot frame would be hard to miss if there's any larger en masseing of folks or unfriendly type people. While she trots a smidgen away to stack stapling things to various posts in the plaza. Determined to do a fair few things while she still can even if she waddles a bit.

She's got a few brightly colored flyers in hand, as she gives a friendly smile to whoever might wander closer, her ears wiggle slightly. Even though she clears her thoart softly and gives a slightly sheepish look but depending on whom it is that might change quickly and easily to a grin or what have you. "Ahem, this might sound like an odd question but what would you say is some of your favorite summer type things to do?"

She slightly winces but gives her best smile while internally kicking herself.

Oh yes make it sound like a survey question that would surely get folks into a festive mood.

Aal tilts her head, perks up instantly, and softly scents the air with a pleased grin. "Tay Tay!" She exclaims a wee bit excitedly and wiggles a little puppy-like in greeting. "OOh nice plaid, ya fit right in back in StoryBrooke in that." She informs her with a little wry chuckle as she fixes the collar of her own green but lighter material one.

Sometimes shifters had some similar quirks etc to their other form or forms. Canines didn't always do so well in exterme heat after all. "Ahem, aye they do..remind me to show ya a snowy day when it's milder." She murmurs warmly. Oh she was so gonna get some knitted things and such if the lass gave her half a chance. Or perhaps she could help her find something more her style but for other weather and climes.

"Aye," She murmrus warmly and then her eyebrows and ears went up, "What..happened if I dare ask?" Her eyes widen. Oh she knew that name from Stories and legends true enough. A Trickster, like Raven and Loki though the former seemed the more earthy of the lot from her stuides and things she'd seen of the latter(s). "Always mind yer words round some aye." She murmurs softly and looks but symthacy and guilty. "More than handful might take em literally.Or..worse." She adds quickly. A nervy worried look in her eyes.

Right looked like she had to do some more 101 things from some..Just like the old days. She was just sorry she hadn't thought of it sooner. But then she didn't want to dive nose-first into folks' business and chase them off etc either. Her fur went up along her spine as it appeared. Right then, Mama Wolf mode activated missy. She nods firmly and sniffs the air taking a slow step toward the lass her fingers/arms twitching to offer a hug or least some form of comfort. "Are ya hurt?" She asks softly. Her hand slightly raised.

Still trying to place the scent on the flannel. Her brow furling, it seemed slightly familiar like she'd ran into it in passing recently. Which was very likely.

Taylor gives a warm chuckle as Ash wiggles about. "Borrowed it. Could say I slept over with a friend." She smirks a little.

"I've tried the snow hon. Not my thing. Maybe Uncle Nate's right... I am part fish. Get me in the snow and I flop about like a fish out of water. And it's always too cold. That I blame being raised in Hawaii on. We get snow, but rarely and you have to go to the tops of the mountains."

"I saw my mother. Wasn't a pretty sight. I'm okay though." She patted her friend's shoulder. "So what are you up to? And want help? Because could use the distraction for a little bit."

She hums and nods, blinking bright-eyed. "Oh? that's good friends are good." She murmurs pleased. Trying to not read into anything just yet. "So long as tis a safe place." She murmurs gently.

"Ah, I see well cold's not fun but some activities and coco can be." She murmurs warmly, her face soft in sympathy. "Guess ya need a special tank or warmer water under the ice then..erm metaphorically speaking.." She murmurs with a shiver.

She nods and tilts her head. "Cool." She murmurs remembering the blue mountains were like that even in warm weather.

Her eyebrows go up, "Oh hun, I'm sorry Tay." She murmurs and pats her's back in kind. Her face softening greatly. Being haunted was one thing.."Oh been trying to figure what folks like to do. especially now we got nice weather and if ya like you more then welcome." She then brightens. "Oh , there's also someone I like ya to met when we circle back round." She informs her with another wiggle and slight happy pink warmth going into her checks.

"They can be." She smiled a little as she rocked a little on her toes.

"I'm sure things can be fun in the cold, but it's not my kind of thing." Taylor gave a small giggle. "I'll let you have at it."

"It's alright, I'll be fine." She rubbed her arm where the bracer had been. "Thank you though." Catching Aal's look she quirked her brow. "Oh? Who?" She snags some of the papers from her.

She hums and nods.

"Well, if ya ever want to build a snowman or something..ya know where to find us." She murmurs warmly. She tilts her head. "Well, it's lovely weather for snuggles, I'm sure by then though I'll need more hands for other things. Dor's Birthday in January and these ones will be..crawling and such I'm sure." She murmurs trying to do mental math plus there was Yule/Christmas..that was always fun hereabouts.

She hums not so certain of that. She gives a once over. "Well if you feel odd at all, I'm a certified healer so don't hesitate." She murmurs. And she didn't mean just in first aid or field medicine.

"Your very welcome." She murmurs and then grins playfully, "My mate..ahem Hubby, Dor." She adds pausing slightly tween words. Not sure why she was slightly nervy maybe cause she wanted them to get on well. But there's also a little puffing out in pride head notching up. Her's, lovely gorgeous mate he was inside and out. She wiggles a little again.

"I'll take you up on it sometime. Maybe. Though I did warn you me and snow don't co-exist well right?" She grinned. "Aw, want me to babysit sometime? I would be willing to help with that if I'm able."

"I'm really fine." She isn't, but she's not going to push her mental issues on a friend.

"Oh! Sure I'd be willing to meet him, you said so much about him already, would be a shame to not meet the man in your life."

Aal beams and nods, "Yes I know.Just be warned we get it here too." She murmurs trying to give what heads up she can. Her eyebrows go up and wiggle a little again, "Ooh that would be greatly apprenticed..might have to have least a few of ya'll on duty we're having multiples." She warns the other woman though she swallows a little part out of jitters. As she rubs her tum, she wanted to be a good mum.

"Got a fave snack?" She asks with a playful lopsided smile.

She raises a wry eyebrow at that. "mmm-hmm. if you say so." She murmurs wryly not completely believing that. But she had a listening ear if she ever needed to vent or what have you. "Well I used to be a healer back home..so if ya need some patching up or heck a snack and to chill." She half informs half offers.

She perks up at that her tail a-wagging. "Awesome, " she murmurs wiggle wiggle wiggle. Squinting happily. "ahem speaking of..ya find any other friends of late?" She asks warmly, curious. Hopeful. As she offers her her right arm.

"So, you'll be able to laugh at my island loving ass when I fall flat on my face." She smiled though, she'd let Aal have her fun. "I'll have to be the cool auntie then, teach them how to surf, and I'll get them all skateboards, with all the padding, as soon as they're walking." She may be kidding about that.

"You know what, I'll bring some of my favorites for you to try. But Mochi and Poke are usually hits."

Taylor pats her shoulder. "I promise, I will come to you when I'm ready to talk about it alright? For now, you're planning something fun, let's not bring the storm clouds and rain on your fun."

"I, have a few. I think Megatron may have adopted me. I swear he's protective, not sure what to think about it." She grinned.

"Aww nu." She murmurs, softly and shakes her head she would not laugh at the falling maybe snicker if Tay makes some funny sounds or something and catches her off guard but she didn't like to see folks get hurt or possibly so. "I'm Babmi on ice me self. " This time she does opens her arms a little in offer of a hug. With a big puppy dog look.

Her ears perk up and she wiggles this time the tip of her tail wags and as Tay continues her tail starts wagging more and more, faster and faster.

"OOoh yes please." She murmurs with a little smirky grin. Her canine side nearly beaming and very pleased by the thought of treats and friendly company. "Really?" She murmurs a mite please and excited at the idea with a nod, "Yes Auntie Tay." Agreeing with that wholeheartedly.

She glances over her face softens and eases a bit, "Oh-kay Tay tay." She murmurs her voice softer a mite younger sounding for a moment perhaps. Before gently leaning her cheek toward the hand to give her a rather canine little nuzzle of comfort in return as her eyes start to glow molten golden like a pair of newly minted coins and look a mite more canine in shape.

Her face chances for a moment into a look of 'you better' before she smiles softly and friendly again. Someone's word might not mean much to some but to a wolf or at least this one loyalty and the like were very important. If she's not too careful she might get herself a furry shadow with a patient but expected look on their face.

She smiles softly, touched. "Thank you, Tay and that's all I ask." She murmurs least someone listened. Her shoulders ease a little, some others she tended to care for were often far more guarded and stubborn, to put it mildly.

She tries to give her another nudge her nose twitching, "OH good ." She grins, "I'm glad to hear it." She murmurs though she also planned on networking tween various folks if given half the chance too. Whether hoping for there to be friendships or otherwise. Even if business-wise, there were several folks in the Nexus she thought would be good influences etc or for each other.

She coughs wryly, Her ears go up and alert at that name. "Aye well.." She huffs a little and crosses her arms lightly. "My Tay." She murmurs more playful grumpy than anything under her breath. Wolfies could be territorial but she wouldn't start anything unless he did something not nice. Besides, he had access to the ball pit apparently.

And being able to use such would make some of her other new and feathered friends happy. Her tail lashes slightly just a smidge. "Ahem, well the more folks on yer side the better." She murmurs diplomatically and logically. She nods softly but firm.

Taylor laughs as she gives her a hug. "Seriously when it happens I'll probably be the first to laugh. I mean hello, I'm a surfer. Wiping out, is part of the sport. If you can't laugh about falling and get back up, you shouldn't get in the water. At least that's what my teacher taught me."

"Then when I head home next, I'm going to have to make a store run for supplies." She was already making a list. "Might have to make two trips..." She could do it though.

"True, but if I can I'm not going to bring the trouble here." Her hand went to her neck lightly though. "And besides more friends are fun."

Aal makes a soft uncertain canine sound regardless. "Water and snow at least can cushion sometimes." She reasons unless ya hit it real hard or there were hidden things beneath. She tries to give a gentle comforting nuzzle and lay her cheek near her shoulder. Her canine instincts and side wanting to encircle Tay protectively.

Her ears perk up greatly at this, "Ooh lovely, and aye I know that feeling." She murmurs with a little nod. "Let us know if ya need a hand or two." She murmurs warmly. After all her beloved mate was rather strong and they both had a few tricks up their sleeves if need be.

"Well, not intentional I'm sure but odd things do happen hereabouts to put it mildly." She murmurs whyly and she wouldn't put much past some sorts. Nope best be mindful.

She snickers. "The waters I'm used to, don't like it if you misbehave, but I wouldn't take the kids out to the waves until I'm sure they can handle it. And once I've finished making sure I trust the waters here myself."

"Ill bring the best ones, and I'll have to get my recipes to make the ones that I can't buy. Which are only a few."

"I still will do my best to keep it from happening."

"Ah, I see." She murmurs and gets a thoughtful look wondering what sort of misbehaving she meant. She nods gratefully and approvingly. "Aye. " She murmurs trusting Tay tay to know how to do so properly. Same as she would her Mate. She gave her a warm smile. "I'd trust you and Dor to test them and do so." She murmurs simply and sincerely.

She nods warmly, "I see" She murmurs and wiggles a little.

"Aye, that's migirl." She murmurs warmly with a proud little smirk and tone. She gently nudges her encouragingly.

"Hey, I will take the whole Auntie role seriously! And they're not getting hurt on my watch." She grinned at her.

Tay gave a one armed hug back.

Aal squints very happily, her tail wagging faster and faster. "Good, and thank ya Tay." She murmurs, with a wiggle and slightly bouncing a little up and down. Unable to hold in the little girlish bout of giddiness.

She hums happily and snugs in a canine manner for a moment. Given half the chance the lass could easily find herself with a pair of canines curling up with her on a couch to watch tv or something.
