There's No 'I' in Team but there is in Community.
Aal's got a stack of various flyers under a rock of a paperweight along with a few other things on a foldable table with a red and white table cloth being watched over by her beloved blonde mate. Whom even sitting his six foot frame would be hard to miss if there's any larger en masseing of folks or unfriendly type people. While she trots a smidgen away to stack stapling things to various posts in the plaza. Determined to do a fair few things while she still can even if she waddles a bit.
She's got a few brightly colored flyers in hand, as she gives a friendly smile to whoever might wander closer, her ears wiggle slightly. Even though she clears her thoart softly and gives a slightly sheepish look but depending on whom it is that might change quickly and easily to a grin or what have you. "Ahem, this might sound like an odd question but what would you say is some of your favorite summer type things to do?"
She slightly winces but gives her best smile while internally kicking herself.
Oh yes make it sound like a survey question that would surely get folks into a festive mood.

"I don't talk on stage. I'm a drummer in a band." He gives a shrug and begins jittering and rocking up on the balls of his feet because he doesn't do well with staying still in general. "It puts a lot of pressure on us to constantly have people taking our pictures."
The affectionate touch to her belly is obvious to the drummer because he, among his own people, was taught more about what it was to be a woman despite the male body. It gets a big smile. "When are you expecting them?"
He likes children, mostly because of his little sister who was born when he was 17. They were close siblings though he spent a lot of time on the road. Then he's touching the tattoo on his arm, fond but sad.
"It's a tattoo of Rakas. The first reindeer I trained when I was a kid. I got it when she died." She had been special to him and it felt right when he wanted to get a reindeer tattoo that it should be her. However as he leans over to look even more at the list he points to the food and music part. "I'm a chef in a band. Are you planning a party?"
He wondered if it was a baby party. He could still cook for that but maybe not the band playing. Though, it never hurt to offer.

But she's always eager to teach and or learn herself. She tilts her head a little toward her new aqueince. "It's ok ya can touch em if ya like, I'm Aal by the way." She murmurs warmly. She usually did a few shift round the kiddos etc since folks usually we're more inclined to be at ease with a canine than say a stranger.
"Ah, I see. easier in a group I find regardless of what needs doing. " Like singing. Or again around friends or too a particular person in the crowd if it wasn't a duet or something. Carols were always fun around the hoildays. Her look of sympathy remains, "Mmh yes some don't know the meaning of personal space aye." She'd heard of such. At least in the Enchanted Forest one did not have to deal with Photogs. And sleazy people of that sort.
"Oh." She brightens, Arne was the first person of the day to ask such. "Sometime within the next couple of months, " She informs him warmly. It wasn't easy finding someone who was well versed in Shifter things. Though she has some possible candidates she was hoping to talk with this side of the Nexus.
Her face brightens and then softens, 'Oh, I see..I'm sorry to hear that..round Christmas time I met quite a few of such and a friendly fellow who helped take care of them, hopefully, you'll run into each other sometime." She murmurs, again feeling like a certain group was in need of an invite etc as soon as she spied any of them or got a chance to drop by they're Villa. She didn't want to bother them over much if they we're busy.
Her ears perk up again, "Oh really? " She asks pleased there was someone else who seemed to be a food enthusiast. She'd been talking to a few folks about possibly getting some sort of group together. Especially with folks needing to learn say some more variety or beginnings.
"Well, I'm certainly hoping to perhaps do so when I get a general idea of something folks might like." She murmurs softly not assuming that folks would want to do certain things. (even say for her). Especially when she hadn't known some of them very long etc.
Especially given soon enough she'd not be able to do certain activities.

As someone who is very spiritual, the curiosity comes naturally about many of the odder people in the Nexus. Once the offer is made he eagerly reached out and pet them the way he would the ears of the deer back home or Mouka, his dog. "I'm Aarne Järvinen."
The Finnish sometimes sounds strange to people and he's prepared for any fumbling with the language. It's not a common language but he's smiling and jovial.
"I've never known how true that is until now. We were touring alone but we've joined two other bands and It's amazing." The bouncing on the balls of his feet increases but it is just because he is naturally high energy. "They don't. I don't care but not everyone wants to be out in the public all the time with people everywhere."
"Do you know what you're having?" He's brightening even more if that is even possible but he is a very over the top person sometimes. "I helped my mother deliver my little sister."
"Death is part of life." Aarne shakes his head at her worry. "My family has many reindeer back home. "I'm Sami and my family kept the old traditions of herding. I was raised around reindeer."
He nods vigorously to all of this. "I cook for the bands all the time and my boyfriend might start learning. He's... he's having a time learning my culture because his is so different."
"I can give you my PINpoint." Aarne offers. "I don't know if I'll be on tour still or visiting home, but I'll try to come and can bring the others." Aarne was always down for a good party; drunken rockstar or family style it didn't matter.

She squints happily, "Ashlynn SinClair." She chirps back automatically, "Though most call me Ash or Aal." She adds and informs warmly. Her tail tip wagging a wee bit under her rain jacket. She hum and nods wryly in sympathy. "Cha, or just cause ya go a certain sort of job or duties ya ain't got a right to some downtime. " She snorts and huffs through her nose. True a lot of the time it was ya know someone was in need of something urgently that was another matter entirely.
"Oh? lovely. " She murmurs and smiles warmly, nodding slightly, "One boy and two girls." She murmurs softly gently rubbing up and down for a moment. Someone was swimming about like their daddy in there at the moment. Likely curious about the sounds going on of late.
"Ooooh." She murmurs both intrguried and approving. "Deers and cooking lovely. " She murmurs. She hums her face soft in symapthy.
"Oh, that would be helpful, not sure when what's gonna be pulled together just yet. " Hopefully soon but ya never knew. She nods and smiles warmly, hearted by the interest already.

He giggles, warming up to her quickly. "Aarne." He leans in whispering with mischief. "I'm the Finnish Terror sometimes."
He shrugs. "Being a rockstar with all the fans around doesn't mean you like the crowds. You go into it for the music."
"Triplets?" He feels like hugging her and barely refrains from it. Contact was something he grew up with, lots of hugging, especially with female families. "In my family, it's good luck to have someone like me around for a birth so I go home for my family a lot."
"Drums and fashion too." He's proud of what he's done with his life and it shows. "My boyfriend is a photographer. My mom had pictures taken when my sister was born."

Aal chuckles, mirroring, and then tilts her head. "Erm, Is that like being Terrible when yer two?" She murmurs half playfully.
She nods softly, "True, music can be very lovely and moving in various ways." She murmurs warmly but yes everything had some price to it.
She smiles softly with a tilt of her head, "Aye, "If he opens his arms in offer she wouldn't mind a friendly hug. Her ears go up curious and intrigued. "Oh? interesting." She murmurs and wondered if it was like those of erm..two spirits' she read some things about the Natives in the part of the realms they'd been deposited into. But she knew there was likely some marked difference tween those of Maine and the Northern Climes.
She chuckles softly, "Sounds a bit chaotic but lovely too." She murmurs with a soft look. Lots of nieces and nephews and the like she was sure. Something about the thought soothed some deep part of her
Aal nods, listening raptly. "Ooh, lovely." She murmurs poletiely.
no subject
He giggles. "Definitely, but even louder with more chaos, more drugs, more sex and less crying." He's all mischief when left to his own devices; a rules and social norms breaker. "I'm too loud for the normals around."
"We all live for music." On that he could confidently speak for his own bandmates and probably the others he was touring with.
She does get a warm, familial hug and probably a face full of crazy hair since his is always everywhere due to the natural curl and the teasing on top of it. And he won't mind her staying in that hug as long as she would like.
"Our family is more than European families. We live with many families together as one family even if they aren't blood-kin." He didn't always know how to describe his culture to others, even struggling with his band friends too.

"Ah." she murmurs and softly clears her throat. "I see." She murmurs softly, and a little uncertain. "Ah, I imagine." She murmurs wryly. Hopefully not when folks need a good nap.
She hums and wiggles happily, "Aye, aye." she murmurs in agreement.
She gives a little back pat in return. Before softly blowing air, she does for at least a few moments. Before easing back a little. Thouogh still hugging loosely.
"Ah I see. like a tribe." She murmurs with a nod and ears wiggle. "or clan?" Her eyes squint, glad to know she wasn't the only one who liked to 'adopt' folks so to speak.
no subject
Oh! He definitely harassed his bandmates and the other bands while they were passed out, sleeping or relaxing. "But I'm fun!"
Aarne is happy to stay in a loose hug for as long as she would like.
"My family and the bands are both like clans." He giggles. "Well.... maybe the bands are a little more like a rowdy gang."
no subject
She coughs, "I certainly hope so." She murmurs more bemused than not. There's still a slightly wry eyebrow rasie.
"Aye I imagine so, " She murmurs pleased by the face. "Ah ahem." She coughs a little she could believe it from what she's heard of some of them. "Perhaps I could bake or make them a itle something sometime if they have a fave home cooked item?" She half asks. Sounded a bit like some Lost Boys so to speak. And not those creepy vampire types. The orginals.

"We have a lot of eating restrictions between us." Mostly Ziggy but it was still true. "I'd love someone to come cook with me. If it's after you have yours, my bandmate is good with kids. He acts like a hard ass but he loves them. He'd be a good dad, so would my other bandmate. Our singer is sweet but I think he's drunk too much for caring for kids."
no subject
She hums and nods again her ears perk up, "Well I know a few folks who might understand a little.." she murmurs warmly, again hoping to network some folks who needed good influences or would do well in endeavors together, or at least she helped.
She hums and nods in understanding. "Not surprised." She murmurs. "Ooh, that be fun." She murmurs warmly. Her tail wags softly, and listens raptly. "I see." She murmurs warmly.
no subject
"I love meeting new people." That was an understatement since the drummer was the one who would just wade into fans and introduce himself, hang out with them, and make friends he kept in contact with over time. Some people were social butterflies, but if Aarne was one it was more like Mothra.
"I cook most nights if you ever want to join us." Aarne would have no problem with that and the other bandmates were used to friends stopping by here and there for an evening or in a specific city.
no subject
She nods and hums warmly at that, "Aye, that's always interesting." She murmurs in agreement. "And usually fun."She adds softly, as it could also be a mite nerve-racking at times.
She hums and makes note of that, "That would be lovely." She murmurs she really needed to get some visits in before the pups arrived.
no subject
There could be any combination for a family and he didn't want anyone to feel left out.
no subject
Though she would definitely be up to expanding the fam/pack with adopted brothers, sisters, and Aunties and Uncles, etc.
no subject
Truthfully, the rockstars packed up like wolves. They were an extended family of brothers and sisters that usually were a load of chaos and fun but they got scrappy with each other, even to the point of almost fighting for dominance and alpha type status. The also easily absorbed others into their circle.

She slightly glances back toward where her Mate was minding the table a small playful smirk on her face. She could imagine him likely wanting to try an instrument or two. (not to mention herself) or trying to papa wolf any rowdy musicians. She giggles softly, "What sort of merch do ya'll tend to have?" She asks warmly. She was always on the lookout for perhaps some leather jackets and the like or some nice roomy etc t-shirts for them both.
no subject
"The bands are all different." Aarne shrugs. "The Spiders have a lot of wild things sometimes; purses, kimonos, and the normal stuff like shirts. The Angels have shirts and some punk stuff, leather bracelets and things. The Hammers, my band, we do shirts and usually have some Norse stuff with our logo and a great reindeer hoodie that says Follow the Thunder, Bitches. Sometimes Rik auctions off his paintings places. He likes to help humanitarian stuff for abused, orphaned and runaway kids." Aarne looks up toward the sky thinking. "Oh the bands usually have silk flags and promo photos or posters and guitar picks and things. It depends sometimes about what we can get sent to where we're playing."
He looks down at her with a grin. "Maybe we should print up some onsies?"
no subject
She nods and listens raptly. "Oooh, " She murmurs intrigued by some of the listed items, pulling out her mini notebook to jot a few things down. "Kimonos tend to be very lovely colored yes?" She asks with a thoughtful look. "Ooh, lovely." She murmurs through her nose twitches at a certain word. Her ears perking up half in alarm. One could imagine how a She-Wolf would feel about such a word. Let alone one who was a bit more old-fashioned in some manners and matters.
"Ahem Well, I like the first part of that." Deers and Norse things yusss lovely. Her lips twitch."Have ya run into Thor yet?" She murmurs her eyes twinkle a little. "Ooh. Pennants." Those she knew well from back home in The Enchanted Forest aka Mist Haven.
She chuckles warmly, "That would be cute aye." She murmurs though a part of her wondered about prices and sizes in general.
no subject
"I think most of the kimonos they've sold are white or red." That change doesn't go unnoticed and Aarne holds our his right forearm to show her the very bold tattoo of the word Sleazy down the inside of his arm. "I've learned to use the words used on me as power. Bitch, sleazy, whore, and a lot of others. It takes the power from the people using them. The sweatshirt is a Finnish Terror shirt, the name the media gave me."
This was a near spiritual belief of the drummer, a safety net that came from his teen years which were not the best. He's happy to let the subject drop after explaining himself, an attempt not to offend her with his language.
"Only Loki. Our bassist follows the ways of Loki and Fenrir, mostly Fenrir." He pulled a pendant out of his shirt that their bassist had given him of Jormungandr. "Yes, they are like banners that you could hang up."
He grins. "We should make some with Vars' Fenrir tattoo on it. He acts like a mean bastard but he loves kids and he'd love it even if he pretended not to."

She hums and nods, one of each for herself and her beloved might do. Again she'd have to have a look at least a picture or something to be sure. She hums, "Mmh, they both sound lovely. " She murmurs hopefully.
She blinks and tilts her head. "Am, glad to hear ya have dear." She murmurs diplomatically. She slightly winces but smiles politely. Her eye twitches at folks throwing words like such at her new aquanience. It was one thing if say someone was like King Gerogoe or the Evil Queen she might be tempted to mutter similar about them. As they we're right nasty pieces of work deserving of more than a cussing out.
"Ah, I see." She murmurs, her ears perk up ever so slightly. On one hand that could be a worrying choice..Though she was certain they may be a much nicer Wolf that similarly was like at least one of the Loki's she met. He had a nice and lovely brood via adoption though she wouldn't be surprised if he had others about as she'd heard of his most famous or infamous children. (Though she believed the Aesir shared a fair share of the blame in how they'd turned out in the end.)
She shivers a little, though art was something she had a better time with than other things. "Well, I have another friend who I'm sure you'd get along swimmingly if that's one of your favoured creatures." She murmurs warmly.
She nods and her ears wiggle.
"Ooooh lovely, I do love Nordic and Celtic knotwork." She murmurs and at least a wolf was a wolf. There were not nice ones true but just like any folk, there were good and bad apples. She blinks and wags the tip of her tail. "Well, I'm sure we just need to find him something to smile about." She murmurs half in thought with a wee but firm nod. At least it be a start.
no subject
"You can always talk to Ziggy if you want your own. I know he made the ones he wears on stage." Aarne knew the singer made a lot of his stage clothes.
"OH, I like reindeer. Vars gave us all Jormungandr jewelry to protect us." Aarne didn't mind snakes at all but he imagined Vars would appreciate them.
"He has plenty to smile about but he's a punk. It's about image." Aarne understood the exterior that Vars kept up, especially in public but he also had an attitude that was a bit abrasive and took some getting used to for some people.
no subject
Her ears perk up, "Ah, well I'll keep my eyes peeled. " She murmurs with a nod.
She grins softly, "Ah,I see." She murmurs with an understanding tone and nod. Tilting her head again.
She chuckles half wrylt. "Ah naturally." She murmurs wryly not unlike say a Prince or similar when they had to be one way in public. Especially when trying to have an advantage or some such to better things for there people.
no subject
"You can't miss him. He's even taller than me with bright red hair and wild clothes." Aarne couldn't imagine anyone missing Ziggy from a mile away.
"He's a sweetheart, don't let him fool you with the badass." There was always a measure of posturing needed when you are famous; either as a persona or as a wall to protect yourself.
