Aal's got a stack of various flyers under a rock of a paperweight along with a few other things on a foldable table with a red and white table cloth being watched over by her beloved blonde mate. Whom even sitting his six foot frame would be hard to miss if there's any larger en masseing of folks or unfriendly type people. While she trots a smidgen away to stack stapling things to various posts in the plaza. Determined to do a fair few things while she still can even if she waddles a bit.

She's got a few brightly colored flyers in hand, as she gives a friendly smile to whoever might wander closer, her ears wiggle slightly. Even though she clears her thoart softly and gives a slightly sheepish look but depending on whom it is that might change quickly and easily to a grin or what have you. "Ahem, this might sound like an odd question but what would you say is some of your favorite summer type things to do?"

She slightly winces but gives her best smile while internally kicking herself.

Oh yes make it sound like a survey question that would surely get folks into a festive mood.

She smiles warmly and nods, "I thought it likely, but ya never know." She murmurs especially not in the Nexus. It didn't help when one's memories had been meddled with while being transported through Time and space multiple times several times, not by their own choice. And that was long before coming to this place. She shakes her head a little trying not to dwell on such at the moment.

She smiles softly, "Ah, yes I can imagine how yer mum took that. " She half murmurs wryly but a fondish gleam in her eyes. "my brother and I oft tended to skip river and creek stones personally." Or play Knights and Dragons etc.

She chuckles and nods, "Aye, here's hoping. There are some folks I need to chat with, but hopefully, they'll be something hereabouts till then. " She murmurs getting a thoughtful look. yes any Den of there's would need some water features.

She slightly tilts her head, "An older one..I'm definitely gonna need to browse and such for equipment hereabouts or see what I can borrow..If I do any." Yeah something, as she had, was not what one used for a bigger-sized group that could be joining something like that here.

Definitely, something that should be polled she was certain. "Well, if ya have any
ideas or something I'm sure we can add it and put it on some cork boards and the like." Hopeful to someone get more folks in to brain storm and the like.

"She wasn't very happy with me put it that way. I often got a clip around the ear for being a mucky lad and getting into fights with the boys in my street. All good fun though. I'm Mick Ronno, Spider from Mars. Guitarist. Ziggy is our band leader. You've probably met him?"

Most had. It couldn't hurt to ask since he wasn't sure if this woman had met him or not. The ideas she had were good though. A Nexus activity day or the like could be good, sort of like Ziggy's craft day with making cards and things. The glitter. All that glitter.

"Ziggy put on a glitter day here a few months back. Not sure if you went or not. I made him a Valentine card since he's my girlfriend. A bit soppy but he really appreciated it and I had fun doing it."

This brought a small blush to the blond's fair features.

"Ah." She murmurs with a small nod of understanding. "I imagine not unless ya enjoyed bath time just as much as making the mess." She murmurs with a slightly wry cough. She gently puts a hand on her tummy. And murmurs softly, "Don't be getting no ideas you lot." Her tone fond, however.

She tilts her head and looks thoughtful, "Ziggy." She murmurs, "Ah Don't think that I had the pleasure as of yet, to be honest, that's a very unique name though." She murmurs sure she'd remember if she had. Her ears go up in delight at the craft mention.

"Ooh Lovely, think I might have missed it sadly." She murmurs and pouts out her bottom lip a little. "Pity I do enjoy Arts and Crafts." She informs the drummer.

She then blinks a few times as she takes that in, That was something new and different from her own Homerealm and how they used those words so it took her a minute to process. She blinks a few more times, as she tries to find her own words in turn, "Oh, I see.. Cards are nice yes." She murmurs diplomatically with a little head nod. She half wondered if folks from Mars were like Sea Horses in a way? She knew those Males at least had pouches for the wee ones.

"Yes ahem, activities of various sorts would be fun which is why I'm trying to gather options and the like." She informs the blonde with a small smile. Her own Mate was a sandy and very fine blonde. He tended to color very easily as well. "Oh, perhaps I should get some things like sunblock and such in order as well..Like care baskets or something." She half murmurs in thought.

"Ziggy is tall and has bright red hair and long legs. You can't miss him since he's always around the Nexus being busy when not on tour. He's an Anthean; an alien from outer space and I love him."

Mick will continue to say he loves Ziggy until the end of time. The glitter day had been a complete success and the guitarist had been getting his hands dirty delving into glitter and glue. Some was bound to be stuck to his pants or jacket still.

"Sunblock? That would help since Ziggy is sensitive to the sun and the rays. Being an Anthean he might burn easily and dry out. I'm no good in the sun much either since I'm blond."

He pushed a hand through his platinum hair and smiled.

She nods listening raptly, "Ah, well I'll be sure to keep my eyes open." She murmurs she blinks a few times. So best to find out if there was any allergens and such to be mindful of folks too. She thinks and makes another column.

"Mmh, you be surprised how many folks tend to forget or know-how and when best to have such on." She murmurs maybe some big hats for folks too. Stuff like that. "MMh yes, fair complexions, my hubby colors very easily as well. " More scribblings added to, of things to get list.

Aal smirks softly bemused. "Maybe some umbrellas and such for shade would be good too." She half murmurs.

"I'm sure he does. Us blond blokes need to be careful about the sun burning us into a crisp. That or a bloody lobster."

Mick knew the parasol or umbrella would be a must when sitting out in the summer sun even with sunblock on. Ziggy would get priority of the umbrella though with his delicate Anthean complexation. That and the blond was a gentleman.

"How about a box full of ice and beers? That could be good for keeping us cool too. Non-alcoholic drinks for those who don't drink too. What do you think?"

These would be good ideas for sure.

Aal nods a few times and hums. "Yes, I like the coloring on him but no burning for any of ya lads," She shakes her head and crosses her arms in a slightly stubbon maternal manner. "Nope..not allowed." She murmurs fondly, soft but firm.

Again she ponders over some necessary warm weather and beach things.

"Ooh, I do like that suggestion." She does raise an eyebrow a little wry, her nose twitches at the drink choice before nodding at the non alc addition. "So long as we have someone..designated to mind whomever and beverages." She murmurs she didn't want more mischief than say the good-natured kind if she could help it. "Ahem so long as the beer's down wind from my nose. " She murmurs she didn't need an unpleasant episode.

"Burning hurts too. I'd rather not have to go through all of that."

Mick was sensible when it came to keeping out of the sun as he was mostly an indoor sort of man anyway who liked to play guitar or spend hours in the recording studio playing around with arrangement. As for the drinks idea it seemed that Mick had struck gold and was pleased she liked his idea.

"Oh yeah good idea. I think we could get one of the lads to look after the drinks. Weird is usually the "dad" or our group since he's sensible. You don't like beer I'm guessing? I prefer gin or whiskey usually but beer can be a nice refresher to start with."

Was she a cocktail type of girl instead?

Aal nods as well, "Aye, " She murmurs and jots on her clipboard again so she had a list/reminder. "Better safe then sorry on that count." She murmurs.

She grins more at this. She chuckles, "Oh" She murmurs her eyes twinkling. And shoots her mate a sideways lok. "sounds like he and my Papa Wolf over there ought to get along." She murmurs with a good-natured chuckle. "Ah, naw too sour and such for my tastes..Even if it wasn't medically unadvisable I tend to not have such..Prefer maybe a glass or so of wine or bubbly on occasion. " She informs him nonchalantly. "Lately though I've been craving milkshakes and the sort."

She nods and makes a note of that.

"Bubbly? You mean champagne or wine sort of thing? I can't drink too much of that since it blows me out. Gives me stomach ache with the gas. Spirits and beer are more my thing."

Mick had a nasty bout of gas when he drank too much bubbly at someone's wedding once. That was rather embarrassing too since he had to keep ducking out to visit the bathroom. At least beer and gin went down a treat with his stomach. Aal liked milkshakes? This caused the blond to smile fondly.

"Oh, milkshakes, eh? I used to drink those when I was a lad. Strawberry is my favourite. My mum used to buy me one when we went on holiday to the seaside close to our town."

Those were good days.

"Ah, aye exactly. " She murmurs and then her eyebrows go up. "Oh, dear." She murmurs and reaches out to try and pat his shoulder in comfort. "I'm ahem. " She glances about. As there's only her new possible friend and hubby about she feels safe enough to confide. "Like that with onions." She murmurs she shakes a little. "Well, just be careful lad..I'd rather not lose ya after just meeting ya." She murmurs warmly but firm.

She brightens immensely at that and nods several times. "Oh yes, I have a pal who does this cute little design with little peanut butter cups." She chuckles warmly. "And noted..mmh, Ice cream social..sounds like a nice idea too." She murmurs and adds it to the clipboard.

"Oooh sounds lovely." She murmurs warmly.

Mick smiled at the pat to his shoulder and liked that she cared so much for her friends. She really was a mother hen sort of caring person and the blond found it endearing. He laughed softly and shook his head.

"Don't worry, love, I won't get sick. I've grown up a little since I drank all that bubbly. It was when I was around 18 or so. A young lad."

Peanut butter cups? He wondered what those were. They sounded tasty either way. An ice cream social was something the Nexus could do with and Mick would be onboard with the idea, although there would have to be dietary needs for those who couldn't drink milk or eat sugar.

"Ziggy can't eat sugar so ice cream without would be good."

"Good and ah, so curious and unsure of yer limits?" She murmurs still sympathetic. Her right eye twitching a little. She oft had issues of tripping up one way or another. (sometimes literally ) herself back in the day. Though she still had her not so great moments. Less as often nowadays. Thankful but it did happen.

She makes a soft soothing cooing murmur sort of sound nevertheless.

Her ears perk up and then her eyes soften, "Oh I'm sorry to hear that." Though she makes note of it better to know. Perhaps yes she or someone could help her figure out a way of making or getting a proper alternative. "Thank you for letting me know. Surprisingly not many folks have been telling me if they have allergens or not." So hopefully that meant the latter but you never knew. "MMh, need to get some index cards to put ingredients on methinks." She half murmurs to herself as she jots that down.
