She smiles a little approvingly, at least he had the wits about him to protect his back. She nods back warmly, encouragingly. "That a boy." She murmurs her lit edging in so she's got a slight burring drawl as she keeps her tone low. Though it's not exactly a protective growl. As she scans again as well.

And gently tries to pat his arm in a 'there there' manner. Though she knew there were two sides of every story she couldn't excatly help mediate etc if she'd didn't hear from both of them but given his state.
