Katsuki is not having a good day. He was right in the middle of chasing after a villain when he ran down the alley between two buildings and came out the other end to find himself here.

The people around him were trying to be helpful. But he wasn't really making it easy on them. His mood was souring more and more by the minute.

"I don't care about your damn pamphlets! Where'd the guy I was chasing go?? Someone had to have seen him, right?"

Henry walks up, his demeanor as calm and as quiet as much as the Katsuki's demeanor isn't. "What did he look like?"

It doesn't hurt to try and find this guy, right? Maybe they both came through at the same time.

Katsuki’s temper cools juuuust a little. Looks like at least one person isn't completely useless.

"He's a big guy with a cannon for a mouth." Yes. An actual cannon. Quirks do weird things to people's bodies sometimes.

[roomed]

Henry sighs and shakes his head. "Damn...I think I would've noticed someone like that. I think you might've teleported here. Or come through a portal on your own, maybe...Sorry."

Portal? Katsuki feels uneasy at that idea. Although this had been nothing like Kurogiri's warp gate or whatever the hell quirk All For One had used...

"How far are we from Musutafu?"

He'll start there.

[roomed]

"Uh..." Henry often looks fairly blank, but this is a total lack of recognition. He has no idea where a Musutafu might be.

"This place isn't close to anywhere, really. It's where a bunch of different worlds meet. You should be able to get back." He looks around him, clearly trying to find something. "There are devices for that."

It's Katsuki's turn to look blank.

"Whaddaya mean another world?"

[roomed]

How does he even explain this? He puts a hand up to his forehead, rubbing one eye. He wishes a science-type was around for this. "I mean, we're not in your dimension. This is a...meeting place, kind of, of a bunch of different universes. Most people reach it by accident."

[callmekacchan]

Katsuki swears. He looks around, taking in his surroundings for a moment. So he wasn't just dumped somewhere far from home. He was dumped in an entirely different world.

Great. Just peachy.

He looks back at Henry.

"You said there's ways to get back, right?"

[roomed]

"Yeah...it's a device called a PINpoint. They're in a vending machine around here. I'll help you find it." Henry starts walking in the vague direction of where he first showed up, a couple days ago. Hopefully Katsuki will follow.

"It sounded serious, what you came from. Is anyone in danger?" It could be that the kid is just loud (it wouldn't be the first time Henry met someone like that), but there was an urgency to what he'd been saying.

Katsuki follows behind.

"Hard to say. If he's still back where I came from then he's the one in danger once those idiots I was with catch up."

Especially if they catch up to find Katsuki is gone and the villain doesn't have a good answer.

"If he's here? Well. Actually he's still the one in danger. Because I'm going to blast him into space."

He may be giving the wrong impression right now.

[roomed]

Very much the wrong impression. It's a good thing Henry isn't very judgmental. Well, Henry has decided this guy is the loud, blustery type, but that's about it.

"Is that what...uh, all that is for?" he asks, gesturing toward Katsuki's costume. It's very grenade-focused. "Blasting?"

"Nah. This is just my gear. Exploding things is my quirk."

Come to think of it...

"That a thing in this world? Quirks?"

[roomed]

Henry squints for a moment, then shakes his head. "Haven't heard of that one before. Is it like a mutant ability? ...or a superpower?" He's at least not unfamiliar with those.

"Super power sounds about right. Most people have one back home. That villain I was chasing can shoot cannon balls out of his face."

Which explains the cannon face Katsuki described. Even once he knows how to get back, he'll stick around a while to look for the guy. Just to be sure he's not hiding out here.

Henry nods, although he frowns a bit at the whole 'cannon balls out of his face' part. That's a little over and above even what he's used to. "There are worlds that have that. They all call it something different...usually, they're in the minority. And...uh, don't have cannons for faces. I mostly came across people with fire powers...ice, telepathy, sonic waves...that sort of thing."

So it's not totally out of the realm of understanding. "My world wasn't like that. We had supernatural stuff. Ghosts and monsters." He prefers the super powers, messy as it makes things.

He switches directions, taking a left. He finally made it to the part of the Plaza he remembers. Okay, so Paul had taken him this way... He's still keeping an eye out for that vending machine.

A world with no quirks that had monsters sounds very not fun. Katsuki doesn't want to think too hard on that one.

"Quirks are pretty common. Eighty percent of the population had one. Not all of 'em are good for combat. A lot of 'em are kind of lame. They affect how people look sometimes too. Or how their bodies work. Hence, canon face."

[roomed]

Henry nods slowly. "Eighty percent, huh? ...if there's that many, it makes sense that there's more variety."

Oh. He stops in place, looking over to his left. "Found it," he says, more to himself than to Katsuki. He strides over to the vending machines set against the side of a building.

They seem like drink machines, but inside are watches, pendants, belt clips, and tablets of all sizes. The price listed digitally changes, rotating through a number of currencies before flashing 100 yen, then shifting to $1.00.

"I have change if you need any," Henry mentions.

"I got change." He fishes around in his pouches, coming up with a 100 yen coin. "Which one do I need?"

Once he knows he'll put the coin in and vend what he needs. He'll still need instructions on what he has to do though.

[roomed]

"They'll all teleport you, so pick the one you like," he replies. He pulls his own out of his pocket, and it's a standard smartphone rectangle. "The ones like these will run a lot of computer programs, too, if you want that."

Once the kid has picked one out and gotten it out of the vending machine, Henry will show him the button to turn it on. "It takes longer the first time. It's setting everything up," he warns.

After flashing some status updates, it'll spit out a long chain of numbers, calling them Original Home coordinates. "Good. You'll just have to hit 'Home' when you want to go back. It'll take you to where you were last." Henry could not have deleted his own Original Home coordinates fast enough, but he knows that's an unusual case.

He takes Katsuki through more of the PINpoint-specific settings, especially trying to make sure the young man can make it back and forth just fine. Hopefully, Katsuki will make it back to the Nexus sometime. "Any questions?"

Katsuki goes with one of the smart phone types. He doesn't particularly care about apps right now. But it'll be easy to carry around and work with.

He pays close attention to what he's being shown. While he comes off like an angry, violent meathead type, he's actually very smart and a quick learner. He takes time to toy around with it a bit to make sure he knows how to navigate the menus. Then he's tucking it away in one of his pouches.

"Think I got it." He says. And then, because he's been trying to be a little more decent these days;

"Thanks."

[roomed]

"Sure." There's warmth in Henry's voice, but he won't make a big deal of it. Katsuki reminds him of a pyrokinetic teen he used to know, and that's not a bad thing.

He pulls his own PINpoint out of his pocket- much the same model, just a little bigger. "I'll give you my number, in case you want to know anything else about this place. Oh, uh...my name is Henry, by the way."

Katsuki pauses a moment, taken aback by the offer. But after a moment he fishes the PINpoint back out to exchange numbers.

"Bakugou." He offers his surname. And then, after a moment;

"Or you can call me Dynamight. My hero name."

He's still getting used to having one.

[roomed]

Henry blinks a bit in surprise, hearing Bakugou's 'hero name'. He hadn't pegged Bakugou for that, but it's definitely pleasant to hear. It's not exactly a 'safe' occupation, but he gets the feeling that wasn't much of a concern.

"Good to meet you, Bakugou. Dynamight is good, too...is it new?" It seems new. And it makes him realize- "Oh, so the ones you were with...they're heroes, too?" He wonders if they're just as young.

His face scrunches up at being told it's good.

"Took me a while to pick one out. They wouldn't let me be Lord Explosion Murder." Technically when he'd switched to Dynamight he'd tried to make it Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight. But only the Dynamight part stuck.

"Yeah. Sort of. We've got our provisional licenses anyway. But one of these days you're gonna hear the name Dynamight spoken with the same kind of awe as All Might." ah. Right. Henry isn't from the same world. "...I'm going to be number one, I mean. Nothing but flawess victories."

To his credit, Henry's reaction to the name Bakugou wanted is limited to wide-eyed blinking. That's...unique. "The 'murder' part might've thrown people off," he mentions quietly. It's not really a hero thing, at least as Henry thinks of it.

And okay, he thinks he gets the idea now. Heros get licenses in Bakugou's world, and there are established heroes, etc. He smiles a bit, even without recognizing All Might's name, because the 'provisional hero' in front of him seems so excited about the whole thing. "Sounds nice. Is that what All Might's known for? Flawless victories?"
