Rekker was getting the idea that this creature had the mind of a child. For Rekker with was preferable. In many ways he had an easier time with children and young adults. "I make wooden guitars."
He glanced around and smiled while pointing across the plaza. "There's a bakery. Maybe they can?"
The ginger sighed and sat down at one of the chairs. He's explained his condition to children before and he can see that this blue creature had the same kind of optimism.
"Some people, like me, are always sad even when we do things we love and even when we're happy." Rekker explained. "For people like me, nothing stops the sadness. I have to see doctors to help me all the time."
He's hoping that this makes sense but he doesn't mind explaining. He pats the big blue paw on his arm. "It should feel sad to lose family and miss them but it is harder for me because I'm sick."
