There's a new addition to the nexus; a young woman in her early twenties with a small duffel bag slung over one shoulder, wearing a completely bewildered expression as well as pointe shoes, tights, and an oversized jumper over a black leotard.
She was expecting to leave her class and end up in the main theatre for rehearsal; instead, she's God knows where. After walking a little, she stops and looks around again, trying casually not to panic in a way that only the British are able; usually this involves a couple of deep breaths and muttering to yourself, but is subject to change.
"This is fine. Totally fine. I'm just completely lost in a place I've worked for years. Totally normal."
and then, at normal speaking volume;
"If there's anyone here, I'd really appreciate a hand. Anyone?"

Steve rubs at the back of his neck, giving the woman a sympathetic expression. He's been through this before, so he understands how overwhelming it can be.
"Do you remember which door you came in from?"
Maybe don't look around the Plaza because there are more doors than one could count tucked away everywhere. It's very easy to get turned around here.

"My London has to be quite specific...Worth a shot though, right?"
When she's asked about the door she came through, Grace looks behind her and gestures vaguely - a little helplessly, perhaps - in the same direction before she looks back at Steve again.
"It was back there somewhere, but I doubt I could name the exact door."
no subject
Steve gives a small sigh of sympathy and folds his arms over his chest thoughtfully. It's certainly not a very ringing endorsement.
"Well...what's your home like? What year is it?"
no subject
"It's 2016, and it's...busy, I guess? There's always something going on, like any city."
You also have to pay to use the toilets in most train stations, but that's not necessarily the best talking point about the capital.

Steve glances around at the various doors.
"So, busy, but ordinary?" She'd probably have mentioned if there were supernatural goings on or magic or wars and the like.

Despite everything, she manages a soft smile. "I've always wanted to go to New York"
The Big Apple is a dream end-game for her, as much as she loves London.
"That's a good way to describe it, yeah."
no subject
Steve looks a little embarrassed when he admits to that. The time difference makes it difficult to even talk about places he's familiar with.
"I've been to London once, but it was with a friend of mine who practices a lot of magic, and I imagine it wouldn't be the same as your home, probably."

Shifting her bag further onto her shoulder, she holds her hand out for him to shake.
"Sorry - I just realised I didn't introduce myself. I'm Grace"
no subject
Steve looks startled a moment before he reaches out to shake her hand. He can't believe he'd been going on like that without so much as a how do you do.
"Sorry, I forgot entirely. It's swell to meet you Grace. I'm Steve Rogers. Most folks just call me Steve."
no subject
'Steve'. She tries to commit it to memory, since she doesn't know how many other people she'll meet here or how many of them will be friendly.
"I don't suppose you know anywhere around that has decent food do you? I'm pretty sure my stomach's trying to digest itself and I'm dying for a coffee"
no subject
He gives her a friendly smile and gestures out to the nexus proper.

Because eating out is always fun when you don't eat more than two things on most menus.
"I don't know if I'm worthy of knowing secret locations - but, if you were to share, I promise I won't tell a soul"
no subject
"I've actually not been here before." Steve admits to Grace once they have their seats. "But they always buy from the market up the street so I'm sure it's good food."
