"Oh, I'm almost forgetting that not everyone here is from Earth. These beings are from religious scripture on Earth, or at least some of them are. The others are beasts and creatures of legend..." Sam tries to find something that Stratos might be familiar with. "Creatures like a dragon or griffin."

At one point, all of this would seem to be overwhelming, and Sam may have seen some of these creatures of the Nexus as a potential threat. But he has come to learn so much since he left law school to hunt with his brother.

And with a laugh, Sam shakes his head. "Holy water is ordinary water that has been blessed by a priest. We tend to use it as a weapon against demons, and it tends to be very effective on them for the most part."
