Adam is kicking back in a lawn chair with an old timey fishing pole resting besides his feet and the line in the water of one of the numerous lakes out in the Wilds of the Nexus. His tactical gear and coat have been chucked off to the side, and he is sitting there letting the cool summer's night breeze blow against his bare skin. With the lenses of his shades pushed back into his skull, Adam looks like he is at ease with himself this evening.
Or is he? He hasn't been in the Nexus since the battle with Khan, and the fate of Steve has hit the Aug hard. But Adam is a master at bottling his emotions up.
"I'm almost forgetting that I need to ask a question. Alright, what's your favorite thing to do when you have a little downtime?"
Adam asks, as he looks at the fishing pole that Rosco gave him for Christmas. It isn't something he's partaken since relocating to Prague, but it feels nice to do something that reminds him of simpler times.

"I figured he did." She smiles at the mention of her friend's name. "How's he doing, anyway? Did he get his bookstore going? I haven't seen him since... well, since I was last in the Nexus upset over something." She still remembers how good that slice of pizza was at absorbing all that boxed wine. "Oh, and if he mentioned to you something about coming to my world to rescue someone, that's... it's fine now. Tell him that he doesn't have to worry."

"Vaclav's fine. Busy but fine. As for his bookstore, I think he's going to begin looking for books to stock it with. I don't think the old books from his other shop will do much other than sit and collect dust." There's a nod of Adam's head and he cocks his head to the side. "He didn't. But I wasn't here either, I was busy back home pulling a favor for an old friend of mine."

"I hope he's able to find some. The Nexus could use a good bookstore." She looks relieved that Vaclav wasn't able to worry Adam over her problems at the time. "Okay, good... how is that working out, dividing your time between here and home? Is your portal still secure?"

Adam isn't sure he wants to bring up the fact his entire case has gone cold, and that there has been no signs of activity that scream an Illuminati front. It is also why he is here, and not back home trying to hunt down a lead to bring the people responsible for the deaths of millions.

Adam looks frustrated and exhausted, and the hardness in his voice and he looks back to the old fishing pole. And at the mention of Adia's team coming close to find her own Earth sparks a look of fascination from Adam.
"I'm more than willing to offer some help if you need it." Forever the workaholic. When work can't find him, Adam will do what it takes to keep himself busy.

She hates to see him look so frustrated. Adam made a heck of a difference during the Khan invasion, he must be doing some good on his Earth, too.
At his offer of assistance, she smiles and shakes her head. "It's all right. We're on the right path, it's only a matter of time now." Sarah settles against Adam's feet and pants happily. "Although if you ever feel like playing fetch with Sarah, she can always use the exercise."
