This Mortal Coil
Micolash is in the Nexus Plaza, thankfully looking cleaner and smelling better than the last time he'd been asking questions. The cage is still in place, of course; why would it not be? He even looks a little healthier! Not much, as his skin is still sallow and gaunt over angular bones and features. But at least not as unsteady and proportionally more alert as well.
He's not quick to ask a question, however. The scholar is instead on a sofa, long legs pulled up onto the seat with him and folded in front of him. The rest of the sofa, normally big enough to seat three, is piled with books. Easily two dozen, if not more. A glance at the covers that are visible will show a selection of possibly recognizable names: Erwin Schrödinger. Charles Hartshorne. René Descartes. David Ray Griffin. The one he has open on his knees right now is a collection of Thomas Aquinas' summae and related theories.
The scholar is content to immerse himself in this reading for hours on end, but eventually, he seems to recall where he is. And that he can ask questions if the fancy takes him.
"What do you think. Or believe. Happens after death?"
Getting RIGHT to the heavy stuff, it appears.

"He has not explored such venues with me as of yet." He sounds a little embarrassed as he goes on. "He insists my body is still too. Frail. Too malnourished and new. To fully examine my own mind and open such venues...at. The present. But oh, he must surely have things to add to these ideas!" He ends on an eager note again, hopeful that Viatorus agrees.

"Do you think I could talk to him? Do you think I could ask him a few questions? Just a few?" He almost runs out of breath he's so eager to ask. "If I could talk to someone who has physically walked in dreams it might be all I need to complete my work!" His bright, hopeful smile dims as he quickly reassures, "S-So I could continue to study dreams even further, of course."
He wouldn't give up on researching dreams just because of a single discovery, and he'd hate for Micolash to think so.

"But I shall speak to him immediately on the matter!" Micolash hurries to add, still carried along on that excitement. "In fact, I would dearly as well like to know the answers on these things. Do you...have a means to receive letters when this is arranged? I can send one once affairs are in order."

With Micolash's returning enthusiasm, Viatorus smiles and nods some more. "Of course! Do you still have the card I gave you last time? I... I did give you a card, didn't I? My address should be on it..."
no subject
"Wonderful! Oh, but I do hope I can arrange this as soon as possible. There is so much to be gained and learned here! And with the Kin to help as well, there is no telling what we shall gain in terms of fresh knowledge and new ideas."

"It's very exciting," he agrees. The books surrounding him catch his eye and he scrambles to a stand. "I should compile my notes. Send me a message when it is convenient to meet again and I'll be right there!"
