Many happy? returns
It has been some time since the Doctor has been here. He was off facing yet another battlefield. It was meant to be his last. He has no idea how he ended up here, of all places.
He clothes are in a tattered mess and covered in soot. His body, is surprisingly unscathed. Well, now it is. 'State of grace'. It can happen with regeneration. When one is refusing or debating the entire process.
He turns to face the TARDIS. "Why have you brought me here?" When his beloved ship didn't answer him he sighs and starts to walk away from her. "Fine. But I'm not leaving. I'm staying and if this is where I die, so be it."
He walks along, not really wanting to sit. If he sits it might happen and he's not going to do that again. He's muttering to himself. "I can't keep on being somebody else. Why isn't it ever anybody else's turn? Why can't I just rest? Just once?"

And tries to snuggle closer, "Back home, my leige Lord and Lady is Queen snow and Prince Charming. " She murmurs softly with a slight twitch of a smirk. "Most folks would think us merely stories or oddities anyway. " She murmurs softly in a wry sort of way.
And tries not to think of those who might think them experiment subjects or pests. If they ever found Storybrooke.
no subject
She's only stepping in it because while people accuse him of having very little filter normally, he has no filter at all right now.
"I've met a fair few stories and faery tales over the years. Have you found anyone here who would believe you?"
no subject
"Yes, I found a few nice and helpful folks." She informs him warmly. Gently leaning an ear against him and listens to the comforting sounds of his hearts and breathing.
Keeping an eye etc out for any signs of distress.
no subject
"Good. Everyone needs a few of those."
Even him, though he probably wouldn't admit it out loud, unless he had to.
no subject
She half wondered if she should start putting a energy shield or warding up. Though she's not sure how much good it'll do to contain something that strong. If Time Lord's had a grade or scale on the magic/energy spectrum during regeneration. It would be very very , very high.
"Aye, indeed. " She murmurs in agreement. "One of my bestest best friends is having memory problems at the moment however.. it's rather worrying.. he seems to get himself into that sort more then he should.. especially at his intelligence level." She's not sure why she confides that to him. Perhaps because she notes some similarities between them.
Though in his state, Sherlock didn't even remember Storybrooke.. yet. She held onto hope. She couldn't, no wouldn't give up. Not on either of them. But she knew better than to push too hard and or fast.
no subject
"Memory problems. I know a thing or two about that. What's he forgetting?
It's distraction at this point. He needs something other than himself to think about.
no subject
"oh, about the last twenty-eight years or so..." She murmurs softly sadly. Though she figures he might need one of those about now. Most folks did.
She sighs and pulls out a sketchbook and then a pouch of snacks from her back pack.
no subject
Doesn't matter that he's gained her back, losing her was hard.
no subject
"The thing is I'm not quite sure..if it's..gone forever or being suppressed by something." She murmurs softly. Her ears flick back a little, "or someone."
no subject
He's not really good at the bedside manner thing.
no subject
"Aye,hopefully I can find more clues soon. " She murmurs softly, and then peeks up at him. "Are you familiar with the Holmesian methods?" She asks gently and warmly. He seemed like the sort who might like that.
no subject
"Very. Arthur Conan Doyle and I had several long conversations about how to implement them in book form. Why?"
no subject
"Really?" She asks her Boise a bit squeaky. And then clears her throat, "oh um, " she shakes her hear her eyes kinda excited and glossy bright. Her furr poofing and floffing out so she's very fuzzy and fluffy.
"That's ah kinda brilliantly awesome.. And oh um just my friends.. sort of the resident expert round where.. he's from.. well other than his older brother.. " She murmurs softly a slight twinkle in her eyes.
no subject
"Well that cheered you up. But I still don't know why it matters?"
It's not like the Doctor knows this brother or anything.
no subject
"Well, ..ahem..I assume you're familiar with Multiverse theory?" She asks softly, "At least if ya been here before or something." She adds softly. And tilts her head. trying to get a read on his reactions and him.
no subject
"You could say I'm familiar with it."
Could even say he rewrote a couple of the premises, and proved a few others.
no subject
Her tail thumps softly.
no subject
"While I happen to be in a state of grace, I have no idea how long it is going to last, so if you could just get to the point?"
He's tired and in pain. Also, he's not the most patient to begin with.
no subject
"oh right, right sorry." She tucks her tail and feet under herself making her seem a bit smaller. "ahem, I was just wondering if there wasn't someone..or thing ya like to see or do..before..anything happens." She tries to explain. Why did she have the problem of either being too long-winded rambling or cryptic on accident?
She sighs a little.
no subject
Seeing River, Susan, or even Missy would be nice. Though he has mixed thoughts about Missy, since she abandoned him.
no subject
"oh." She murmurs softly and sadly. And then asks warmly, "Are..you hungry or anything?" determined to at least make sure he was comfortable as she could make him. Seeming to be striking out on most talking points at the moment.
no subject
But, he still doesn't know what that has to do with him, oh well.
"No. Tired, mostly."
Exhausted. Physically, mentally, spiritually. He's done and still he needs to decide.
no subject
She blinks up at him, She had hoped he liked them a least a little. She hoped he didn't feel like Doyle did later on with the 'loathing' and people badgering him.
"Ah I see." She murmurs and nods and pulls out a folded shock blanket and tries to gently place it behind his head as she held it in her teeth at an edge. And gently stood on her hind back paws .
no subject
And that's just from Telly.
He allows her to put the blanket around him and even helps a bit. He knows it won't help him, but if it helps her, well...
"Thank you. You don't really need to fuss over me, though. I just need to make the decision. I'm really okay with either option at this point."
no subject
"Do you have a favorite or two?" She asks warmly. "I rather have a fondness for the Great Mouse Detectivetective myself. " She murmurs softly and tenderly.
"Your most welcome. " She murmurs brightly and checks his vitals again. Her face softens and she nods, before sitting down again.
