Doing Good
The AV field can only protect the Nexus so much.
Sure, it makes sure no one's hurt for the most part unless it's broken. And that does cut down on a lot of crime. Kinda hard to murder someone, or rob someone at gunpoint if there's no real threat to the victim. But petty theft? Pushing someone down, taking their shit, and running off? That's a huge crime problem in the Nexus. Especially with hundreds of doors to flee to other worlds and PINpoints to get back to a safe house of the thief's choosing.
And wouldn't you know it? Petty theft is one super hero's bread and butter specialty. Webbing a thief up doesn't hurt them and it keeps them from pointing away long enough to call in the sheriff or his volunteer officers to scoop up the criminal. It does leave some stolen goods unaccounted for though. Which is why there's a friendly Nexushood Spider-Man calmly walking through the plaza with a handbag and some kind of weapon in each hand. A ways back is a struggling reprobate webbed up good and snug to a tree.
Every now and then he stops and holds them both aloft.
"Hey, anyone missing these? Does anyone know who had their stuff stolen? Is there a lost and found in the Nexus?"

Peter might be showing off when he does a flip off of the side of the building before landing on his feet alongside of it. It does feel real good to impress people. There's scary and dangerous parts too but this one he hopes he never gets tired of.
"I'm still trying to work out how there's an old TV show about me from thirty years before I was born but different worlds different rules, you know?" He won't have to shout once he gets back closer to the guy. The smile on Spider-Man's face can't be seen but it's there all the same.

Wow. He's a dumpster diver and even he hasn't ever come across one of those things. That's way old tech Majima's talking about. But he did say it was from the 80s. Time and the Nexus are so weird.
"I mean, you're not wrong? The Avengers have definitely fought of invading aliens before." And presumably he'd be totally welcome to join if that happened again but what are the odds of that happening again? "New York's a big place though, and there's a lot going on there. I try to help curb some of the crime going on.Stop super powered weapons dealers. That kind of thing."

"Into that vigilante life, huh?" He idly wonders if he'd be on this guy's shitlist if he knew his line of work. Majima's look certainly doesn't scream 'upstanding citizen' so much as 'villain archetype.'
"Is that a full-time gig, or ya got some kinda day job?"

Cough cough. As though Majima can't tell this guy is well on the younger side so far as age goes. His voice gives it away even moreso than his gangly proportions. If this kid's day job isn't some sort of school then he might be a street kid or some kind of runaway.
