To be fair it's the same trick he pulled at the masquerade, too. Probably the same hoodie he was wearing that day months ago now. Joshua looks a complete and total mess. There's fresh crescent shaped cuts and scars on the backs of his hands and his palms from where he's dug his nails into his own skin. His hair is a curly mess that hangs limp in his eyes.

He doesn't look nearly as unwashed as he probably could be had he really not changed clothes since that day. He does wash whenever he's sane enough to realize what a mess he looks. It's just not quite so regular these days.

"Nnot gonna. I'm not." He's talking to something next to him that no one else can see. Harley has a good idea from the Nightmares of just what he might be seeing. But it seemed like Joshua was getting better about that. At least he had been. Right now he looks worse than ever before.
