"Or maybe our worlds are just close parallels. Are you okay?" He looks up again, calm and resigned and just a little bit miserable. "Scratch that, if you're me you're gonna answer 'yes' no matter what. We're here, we've faced the same BS and there's a good chance we'll end up facing more of it. If you need backup, I'm there."
