Well, Aslan may be stuck having his paw petted for a couple minutes, here. Soft fur is nice to touch, and he seriously doubts he'll ever have another chance to pet a lion. Unless, of course, he sees Aslan around again and he's amenable. It seems like it would be rude to ask for cuddles, though.
