Jacob stops dead in his tracks when he sees the wolf the size of a truck. It's not actually the first time he's seen a giant wolf, it's not the first time he's seen a literal big bad wolf (with two iterations of a similar character archetype, three plus if you count an entire football team getting turned into a proverbial wolf pack), but it's definitely enough to make him worried that the Libris Fabula might've gotten lose again. Impossible though, cause it was still in the Library.
Didn't hurt to check to make sure.
Jacob checks his pockets and his bag to make sure an axe or an owl of some kind hasn't suddenly materialized, because as cool (and terrifying) as it was being the huntsman for a little while when the Libris Fabula was active, he's not particularly looking to repeat the experience.
Maybe he was just a regular old...giant wolf that was just a species that inhabited the Nexus?
Except...
"Did you just...uh..." Jacob approaches, but keeps his distance. "Huff and puff?"
