+1 King of Asgard
Thor really should have no right to be as cheery as he is right now. Mjolnir destroyed, his father dead, his eye ruined, Asgard exploded, the last of his people crammed together onto a single spaceship on their way to seek aslyum on Midgard, one cannot really say they've been having a good day, to put it mildly.
But it could be worse.
It's taken him years to fully understand what it means to sit on the throne of Asgard, and now that kingship falls to him at last, the lack of that throne doesn't bother him at all. Asgard isn't a place to rule, it's a people to guide. And even if they couldn't save all of them, those who remain are precious to him. A new start awaits them all on Earth.
Or so he hopes.
Thor strides down the corridor of the Statesman, cape billowing behind him as he navigates his way towards the bridge. Hmm. Or was it this way? It's so easy to get turned around in this blasted thing. But ah, the sound of a multitude of voices; surely this is the way.
It takes him a moment to realize that he's no longer surrounded by Asgardians, or even Korg's crew. No, the people here are of all shapes and sizes, and the sky above him suddenly opens up, wide and blue. Not on a spaceship anymore. How very strange to find himself suddenly transported across the galaxy - again - without so much as being shot through the Bifrost. His attention is caught by a familiar voice, and despite his confusion, a delighted grin lights upon his countenance to see his good friend Rogers giving prerecorded messages in his battle regalia.
Perhaps this is Midgard, then? But no, the more he listens, the more he understands. A place between the worlds, hmm. A place to seek counsel, and befriend countless warriors from across the universe. Thor crosses his arms over his chest, and contemplates what question he should ask. Something somewhat relevant to his current situation, perhaps. "If you were put in a position of power, what would you first command?"

There might have been hesitation before but there's none now. Being Spider-Man isn't something Peter has to think twice about. He's made his decision and he believes in what he's doing. Helping people and making a difference are their own reward.
He doesn't need the fame.
"I'll be around anytime you need me."

Though the wait is probably going to seem a lot shorter on his side of things, to be fair.
Still! Now that he knows the truth, Thor has even more questions. "So, how did you come to be the Spider Man?" He's heard the tales from his other human shieldbrothers (and sister), some in more detail than others, and he's more than willing to trade a story for a story, if young Peter wishes.

Just usually. Peter's pretty lucky in that regard. This could have gone so, so much worse than suddenly having a secret identity to keep track of while he helps deal with crime of all size in his stomping grounds.
"At first, I didn't know what was happening and it was real freaky and I tried...to just pretend I was normal. Then I remembered you all fighting off those aliens in New York and I figured you know. Maybe not on that scale I could help people too. So I made my first costume and started learning the streets and helping anyone I could find. It didn't always go as planned though..."

And yes, there's part of his ego that adores being an inspiration to young heroes. There's that too.
"Plans rarely do. But as long as you learn from them, that's what matters."

That's just not who Peter Benjamin "Spider-Man" Parker is though. For better or for worse.
"I was helping out folks on the streets of Queens for about six months before Mister Stark found me. H-he's the one who upgraded my suit for me. Asked me to help him uhm...s..stop Captain America."

Ugh, never mind. He wasn't there, he's not a citizen of Earth (yet), and he has more important things to worry about than whose side to stand by. If he even has to pick one, which he hopes not. They're still all his friends, as far as he knows.
"Yes, I heard about that," he says, and drains the rest of his beer. "A little, anyway. I can't imagine it was an easy fight."
:D! the tag
Peter's brightened up considerably. He gets to talk about the coolest part about being in with the superheroes now and that means all of it. Just, literally everything. His energy level has just skyrocketed.
"His friend was there and he had a metal arm and man that was so cool and he had this guy who was really tiny and then SUDDENLY WAY HUGE and we had to tie up his legs and knock him over just like in that really really old movie and--"
He'll be at this for a while unless stopped.

He chuckles at the breathless litany of events, certainly not terribly inclined to stop him. He has no idea what movie Peter is talking about, of course, but metal arm... Rogers' friend Barnes, probably. But wait, a man who changes size? He only knows one, and Banner was on Sakaar ever since Sokovia. "You fought a giant man? But not Hulk."

Peter stops talking mid sentence, turning his attention to both his food which he's nearly forgotten in all his taking and to Thor because it would be rude not to pay attention when someone's holding a conversation with you. Since Pete isn't really on the up and up with Avengers gossip it's not clear if he even knows how bad off Rhodey was. He knows some people got hurt but that's kinda what happens when people fight.
He shakes his head quickly.
"Not Hulk, no. His whole thing was changing size. Like he was tiny and dicking around in Iron Man's suit while he was in it! And then suddenly he was out and seriously like sixty-seventy feet tall!"
