Okay first off, this place so didn't look like the dig she had been on in the middle of the Pacific. Which would explain why Taylor has a mud streak in her dark hair, and on her clothes. Though she brushes herself off mostly to try to look presentable.
After a moment she gives up, after all at least it's only mud and not blood or any thing else. Though her bare arms, show she's not unused to rough landings, coral hurts if you hit it in a bailout after all.
"This so isn't Rapa Nui, so. Would it be a bother to ask two things? Well three. Who is the Kahuna in charge? And where are we?" Yes she slipped into surf slang only because so far, she doesn't see professor types around and she really had been looking forward to getting the job done and testing some of the waves before she crashed for the night. Of course, it's hit or miss lately if she gets surf time.

Even if it might seem a small thing to the other woman, "I am?" She asks a little taken aback, though happily. Her lips twitching as she tries not to beam but her eyes light up. If her tail had been out it would wagging a mile a minute.
With a wee wolfish smirk, Aal softly clears her throat and squares her shoulders. "I am." Her tone a little more confident with a little head nod before notching it up a little regally and proudly." Ahem Well, most folks originate themselves via the plaza being as sometimes things." She motions her arms and hands in a rotating pattern. "Move around.. sometimes quite literally..and Well, one good thing about the place there's all sorts of options depending on what tickles yer fancy. " She murmurs warmly.
She makes a soft wry almost bemused sound, "So long as you use that bravery wisely ya should be fine." And if not, there will be words. She didn't care how big for their britches someone was. She twitches her nose, Tay was officially becoming one of her favorite new persons as it was. On top of her Den mother instincts kicking in.

"The only time it steered me the wrong way, ended up a good thing, because I ended up meeting my Birth dad." She rubbed the back of her neck. "And I learned try everything at least once. If it's good make sure you can find it later."

She hums and nods softly, "I see." She murmurs softly with a small smile. "I'm glad to hear it ended well then." She murmurs sincerely. She tilts her head. "Ah, in some cases. I tend to avoid raw and spicy things myself." She murmurs she was a mite cautious in certain areas herself. She chuckles softly and nods. "Aye, on that we agree."

"And more you talk about your significant other, more I'd like to meet him."

She hums softly trying to keep any canine sounds in the back of her throat. She did not think Tay was quite prepped yet for her 'party trick'. Or at least that one.
She grins at the latter, however, "Oh? " right pleased at hearing such, As she offers the other woman her arm mannerly as one would back in the day when going for a stroll turn about a room. "Well, that can be arranged easily enough. Though he's doing errands at the moment. " She reassures the younger woman warmly.

"That's no problem, we can meet another time."

She smiles warmly, "And I'll be happy to introduce you. " She murmurs with a small happy squint trying not to wiggle noticeably but happy bout that. As she scans the area to see if anything new had popped up of late or along the way.

Her shoulders sag a little. She tried not to come off too strong, but sometimes her maternal and other instincts got the better of her.

Heck if she ever had a chance to at least know..certain members of her own family's fate..After..ahem but Tay's problems was what needed to be focused on right now.
She tilts her head to the right in a canine way, "Well..ahem that's not completely out of the realm of possibility in some places mind..Ya need someone who knows what they're doing else such can be verra dangerous." She informs her gently while also gently cautioning.

"You do realize you're talking to an adventure junkie right?"

She smiles warmly pleased by the last part, however, "Well, least that part worked out for ya."
She slightly tilts her head diplomatically. "I figured it a possibility..but I couldn't say nothing in good conscience.. Ahem, old Healer habits." She states with a slight head tilt but her tones warm but unapologetic. After all someone had to look out for the ones prone to jump into things. Even if in some small way. Even if only so they knew they had someone to go too when they jumped in too deep.
