oversized shoes and long luxurious locks

After the Dawning event, Rapunzel had received some advice on where to purchase shoes. So now the previously barefoot woman is proudly wearing a pair of men's shoes, that are two sizes too big for her. She sits on the edge of a fountain in the Nexus, admiring a lily that had floated by.

The long, long, long cascading length of her hair is wrapped around the base of the fountain a few times.

"Did you know that some flowers have meaning to them?" She excitedly asks someone who was walking by. "I just learned that the Oenothera means wine seeker. Which is funny... because I don't even know what wine is..."

"Should I be seeking some wine?" She asks again, just as excited.

"There are so many things I have never tried before... if you had to experience something for the first time, all over again... what would it be?"

"welp. sounds like we should keep an eye sockets out for that door then. failing that, we should try and find you something else special to look forward to in the mean time." But the question is what. What would he suggest to Papyrus in this situation. "birthday... gyftmas... the day you first saw something new here? you can make anything special with the right attitude." That sounds about right, he thinks.

"We can do that?" Rapunzel brightens, and leans forward in excitement.

"What should we call today? The day I met you?"

[lzybns]

He brightens with happy surprise. "uhh, how about 'new day' or somethin' it'll remind us it's the one day we're supposed to find something new and special." A pause, he he chuckles. "'sup to you if meeting counts this year."

[thesundrop]

"Sounds like a great name for a day, to me." She smiles at him.

[lzybns]

"cool." He's definitely sounding happy with this as he smiles back. "so. in the spirits of new day, did you want to go seeking wine?"

[thesundrop]

"That would be great." Rapunzel stands up from her seat on the fountain. "Lead the way."

[lzybns]

Sans hops down from the fountain edge, having a quick look around. Without being able to see where he was going, teleportation was firmly out with how changeable the place was. Don't want to end up in a wall. Well, not with a passenger. Walking, it is. he starts heading towards one of the taverns he had found on his look around, bit it gives the opportunity for small talk. "did you get to see much of the world beyond the tower, or did you end up here before you could?"

Rapunzel took a moment to walk once around the fountain, so all her hair could be loose of anything, then followed Sans. The long locks flowing behind her.

"I was exploring with Eugene for a while. I would like to see him again."

[lzybns]

"maybe he'll wander in one day? we did." It's not giving out false hope, it's just stating a fact. he takes a few side streets, heading them to their destination.

Pure curiosity gets the better of him, because who knows? It's not like he's still working towards breaching to the surface like the rest of the Underground, but he's a knowledge seeker by nature. And that's how he ends up asking "what was it like while you were exploring? was it big? being underground all the time gets small."
