Flowers are a Girl's Best Friend
Both Pamela and Harley were wearing bright red today, as they strolled along the Nexus streets. Pamela was wearing what appeared to be a dress made out of red roses (when said roses were actually still growing and weaving around her green-skinned body.) Pamela sprinkled some seeds into the air, with Harley catching him with a quick little laugh.
Harley was wearing a bright red dress, and was being followed by a few curious birds, that wanted to capture the seeds before winter came.
The woman stopped by one of the Nexus Cafes, where Pamela stopped to check on a few flowers in a nearby planter. Harley watched her with a wistful smile, knowing it would not be long before Pamela left the Nexus to return to the Amazon, where she stayed during the winter months.
Harley held out a hand, allowing a few birds to swoop down and collect a few more seeds from her palm. And stared up at the sky.
"Ya'know…. I have always admired Pam's ability to stop and smell the roses," Harley starts talking to someone who was nearby. "I always went into overdrive, speeding through life, wind in my hair, wearing bright colors and daring outfits, and took so many crazy chances of putting my own life on the line."
"I do not regret any of it. And now, I have so many dear friends, that their concern for me seems unreal. Ya'know?"
"Coming to the Nexus was the craziest thing that ever happened to me. It was the worst thing at times. The best thing at others."
"I need to stop and smell the flowers more often."
"Crazy how a few someone-wonderfuls can change you."
"Tell me about yours. Who is your someone-wonderful? Is it a friend? Family? Lover?" She grins. "Or is it me?" And winks.

"I do know." He tells her while come to a stop to watch the birds. He's very close to birds in general. "I spent a long time away from where I belong."
"Life is special to me, all of it." That is the easy answer but he smiles broadly enough that the four eyes, two on each temple, scrunch closed. "Even I pick favorites sometimes but right now, I find love important and the gratitude toward my brother for trusting me."

"I know how one can pick favorites..." Harley glances over to her shoulder, where Pamela is still distracted. "I am lucky enough to have a handful of favorites myself."
"I don't think we have met! I would have remembered this awesome fashion sense."
"Harley Quinn..." She sticks out a hand.

She draws his eyes toward Pamela and he takes an audible breath at the growing roses. For the angel, her magic is perfection of beauty. "I can see why this one is among your favorites. I think they share something in common with one of my favorites."
He winks at her, full of cheer and brightness.
"No, I have not had the pleasure of meeting you two beautiful young ladies." He takes her hand and unless stopped will kiss it with all the flamboyance of Cassanova. "I'm Rota, the angel of biodiversity."

"Oh! You are one of the Angels? You are in one of my family bubbles then!" Harley grins with a bright smile.
"Red..." She calls over her shoulder, so the other woman can come over. Pamela immediately fixates her attention on Rota. And comes up, she reaches out for a moment, as if to touch his arm... then pulls back her hand, before remembering her own abilities might be a danger.
"Hello." She is more soft-spoken than the flamboyant Harley. "I am Pamela Isley. Or Poison Ivy, as some call me."
no subject
He turned his attention to the other young woman, noticing the way she withdrew. "I don't mind the touch Pamela, or do you prefer Poison Ivy?"
He offers her his hand but won't force her to make contact. He knows some people believe that angels shouldn't be touched but Rota thinks that is ridiculous. "I am safe to touch."
He's thinking about what Ivy might think of his powers, not that she might have something dangerous as well.
no subject
"Pamela is fine. My touch is... poisonous to some people. Are you certain?" She asks softly.
"I am immune to her toxins," Harley explains, wrapping a hand around the waist of her best friend. "But she is considerate of others."
