Flowers are a Girl's Best Friend

Both Pamela and Harley were wearing bright red today, as they strolled along the Nexus streets. Pamela was wearing what appeared to be a dress made out of red roses (when said roses were actually still growing and weaving around her green-skinned body.) Pamela sprinkled some seeds into the air, with Harley catching him with a quick little laugh.

Harley was wearing a bright red dress, and was being followed by a few curious birds, that wanted to capture the seeds before winter came.

The woman stopped by one of the Nexus Cafes, where Pamela stopped to check on a few flowers in a nearby planter. Harley watched her with a wistful smile, knowing it would not be long before Pamela left the Nexus to return to the Amazon, where she stayed during the winter months.

Harley held out a hand, allowing a few birds to swoop down and collect a few more seeds from her palm. And stared up at the sky.

"Ya'know…. I have always admired Pam's ability to stop and smell the roses," Harley starts talking to someone who was nearby. "I always went into overdrive, speeding through life, wind in my hair, wearing bright colors and daring outfits, and took so many crazy chances of putting my own life on the line."

"I do not regret any of it. And now, I have so many dear friends, that their concern for me seems unreal. Ya'know?"

"Coming to the Nexus was the craziest thing that ever happened to me. It was the worst thing at times. The best thing at others."

"I need to stop and smell the flowers more often."

"Crazy how a few someone-wonderfuls can change you."

"Tell me about yours. Who is your someone-wonderful? Is it a friend? Family? Lover?" She grins. "Or is it me?" And winks.

What that a Ghost wearing a fedora? Good thing Harley knows that Ghosts are usually bonded to a Guardian... or her temptation to take the cute little thing home with her would be too much.

"I know a handful of Guardians. Still have to make a favor for one of them... for finding me …." Harley does not know what to get Blaze though.

"I am glad you complete each other. Must be the reason why the Guardians are so good at what they do. They have their Ghosts."

"Yup!" Luce chirped, pleased. "Though not all Guardians have a good partnership with their Ghosts like me and Katiri do. In the beginning when we first met, things were a little rocky. But it's not like that anymore." He floated closer, hovering at about shoulder level.

"You met some of the other Guardians here in the Nexus?" He asked curiously. "I'm Luce by the way, what's your name?"

There is a bird still in Harley's hair, pecking at some of the seeds in her white locks. It looks up with a chirp as the Ghost comes closer.

"Guess me telling them that I can help them out hasn't gotten anywhere..."

She shrugs her shoulders. And grins. "Harley Quinn."

Luce tilted in mid-air when he spotted the bird in Harley's hair. His single optic turned to her though at her words. "Oh, don't take it personal! A lot of Guardians are very careful when it comes to working with non-Guardians because they can die permanently and our world is very very dangerous." Luce assured, though seeing the shrug and the grin reassured that she was okay with it. "I can guarantee they aren't brushing you off to be rude. They probably really like you and don't want to see you get hurt."

He bobbed in the air happily. "Nice to meet you Harley Quinn! Who's your friend over there? The two of you are dressed so brightly. I like the colors!"

"I get it... there are people I would not want visiting my world, cause of how dangerous it is there." Harley nods.

"Pamela! Come on over," She yells behind her, grabbing the attention of the red-haired woman.

Pamela saunters over and smiles. "How adorable. What a darling thing, you are."
