Flowers are a Girl's Best Friend
Both Pamela and Harley were wearing bright red today, as they strolled along the Nexus streets. Pamela was wearing what appeared to be a dress made out of red roses (when said roses were actually still growing and weaving around her green-skinned body.) Pamela sprinkled some seeds into the air, with Harley catching him with a quick little laugh.
Harley was wearing a bright red dress, and was being followed by a few curious birds, that wanted to capture the seeds before winter came.
The woman stopped by one of the Nexus Cafes, where Pamela stopped to check on a few flowers in a nearby planter. Harley watched her with a wistful smile, knowing it would not be long before Pamela left the Nexus to return to the Amazon, where she stayed during the winter months.
Harley held out a hand, allowing a few birds to swoop down and collect a few more seeds from her palm. And stared up at the sky.
"Ya'know…. I have always admired Pam's ability to stop and smell the roses," Harley starts talking to someone who was nearby. "I always went into overdrive, speeding through life, wind in my hair, wearing bright colors and daring outfits, and took so many crazy chances of putting my own life on the line."
"I do not regret any of it. And now, I have so many dear friends, that their concern for me seems unreal. Ya'know?"
"Coming to the Nexus was the craziest thing that ever happened to me. It was the worst thing at times. The best thing at others."
"I need to stop and smell the flowers more often."
"Crazy how a few someone-wonderfuls can change you."
"Tell me about yours. Who is your someone-wonderful? Is it a friend? Family? Lover?" She grins. "Or is it me?" And winks.

"With my skills. Agility. And speed."

Despite dating Ziggy Stardust and hanging around an ample number of rock stars who were very public about their drug use, Minoru never personally saw the appeal. A drink on occasion, maybe. But he liked the feeling of being in control of his body. And of remembering most of the crazy shit later.
“You’d be so amazing out there if you could!”

"My biology is enhanced. Sort of like the super heroes you see in comics?"

"I basically decided to go in a little swim in a vat of Joker Toxin. It is a neurological toxin that can make a person go mad."
"And to help me with the side effects... Red there..." Harley points over to the green-skinned woman. "Provided me with some biological enhancements. I am immune with poisons and toxins now. And I have enhanced strength, speed, agility, and healing."

He had to admit, though, that immunity from poisons was pretty cool.

“Speaking of your mad skills, I’m still no good on skates myself.” He explained that he’d since bought a pair to try it out. The attempt ended with him knocking himself out on a railing. “I’m getting better with the skateboard, though!”
Wheels are great as long as you’re not permanently attached to them.

"I have a blast on them... all the time."

He’d figured that part out at least.
