Spidey's Charity Winter Fair!
Tis the season for giving and gifting, for doing right by your neighbors and strangers alike.
The Nexus is no stranger to parties and gatherings by now. Fliers have been put up--banners arewebbed hung up around a sectioned off block of the Plaza inviting all and sundry to come partake in a charity winter fair. Its host zips between tables to help carry anything heavy or to make sure those who need it have access to power. Spider-Man might be a recognizable Hero back home, but here he's dwarfed in size and abilities alike by the powerhouse volunteers who are helping make his idea take shape in reality. Gods, otherworldly individuals of races Spider-Man can't even guess at--but people too.
So many more than Peter could have expected.
Soon one side of the street is awash in seasonal aromas as tables get assembled laden with pies, jams, and drinks ready to be served up to interested guests. Spidey makes sure to drop off a little bag of hand made sweets to one of the volunteers who brought her kids along to make sure they don't get fussy or left out of all the fun. His head spins when he thinks of how much grander this is than just the one or two tables he and Matt discussed when they were talking out plans. It's really happening.
He's quick to jump over to the other side of the street and grab up a snow shovel to clear away space for the spots being set up for entertainment. Every shovel full of snow he clears for a puppet theater can get dumped into a pile beneath a rigged up seat for a dunking booth of sorts. Already curious onlookers point and laugh, their voices carrying in the crisp air eager for the games about to be played.
In the center of the sectioned off block sits their headquarters for the event where tickets can be sold, raffles held, and a table set up for straight donations just next to it. The man behind it is far more calm than the young costumed man who leans up against the table to catch his breath once everything seems to be coming together.
Spidey's hopeful when he looks over his shoulder to ask, "How many folks d'you think are gonna come?"

((OOC: See the OOC Post here if you have any questions about what this event is! We have several coordinators who will be posting their own top level comments for attractions here with subject lines advertising them but all will be linked to beneath this spot for ease of access as they go up! Feel free to mingle, this is a party post so back tagging and threadhopping are allowed. Enjoy!))

Mary coos softly while Lizzie tries to copy the gesture.
"Aye ahem, well I wasn't sure who'd I see when." She gently explains. Besides better early then late where Winter was concerned. Several emotions and looks flash over her face before she smiles softly and warm. "My pleasure." She murmurs with a little nod.
There should be a knitted sweater inside each along with gloves and a scarf done in 'house' colors with their first Intatil in their fave color on the front.

Minoru had to set everything down first, just to peer into his bag.
“I got green! And sweet! Purple letters!” He grinned, looking up at Aal. “Did you make these yourself? You’re good!”
They were already wearing coats, but Isamu went ahead and put the scarf around his neck.

"Aye...ahem thank ya I figure you two might like something akin to a Weasley sweater maybe more than most though I do em for most of my pals if I think them likely to wear em." Though everyone could use a scarf and good pair of gloves this time of year after all.
She squints happily and gives a wee wiggle. Her tail thumping softly in happiness. "put a few charms on them so they can adjust size and temperature and such." She informs them warmly. Yes cozy and comfty.

Isamu was, of course, immediately intrigued by the idea. He’d only begun to pick Aal’s brain on the subject of how and why that worked. Now, he had an entirely new thing to wonder about.
“Not tonight, Bro.” He nudged Isamu gently.
“Pardon?”
“I know that look. You’ve got questions.” He laughed. “But she’s got a line forming and we’ve got a whole plaza of tables to check out. Curiosity’s gonna have to wait.”
Heaven forbid they stay there all night.
Isamu relented, “I do want to hear all about how they are made. But Minoru is right. This is not the proper time or place.”

She laughs more heartily at the banter and the line of thought bemused. Ah yes, she'd figured that likely. "Ah, " She tilts her head to look mildly surprised but also well lots of folks loved goodies after all. "Yes, perhaps ya boys might like to join us for supper?" She offers warmly. While readying to take the next person or persons requests.

For the younger twin, working nights meant supper was usually more like breakfast. But he was just as eager to accept the invitation along with his brother.
“Yeah, I’d love to too. Just need to make sure it’s a night I have off, or I’d have to eat and run.”
“Then we shall make the appropriate plans to do so.” Isamu decided. “And wear our lovely sweaters.”

She nods in understanding, "Oh, brunch or some such whatever works for everyone." She murmurs warmly. Sometimes she was oft a Night owl for several reasons herself. "Aye, " She beams even more with a canine squint at that. "Lovely and feel free to shoot me a text or whatever ya like." She informs them warmly. "If need be."

As they walked back through the booths, Isamu turned to Minoru, “They do not live very far from us at all. I have been to their home once before, when she gave me a ride.”
“Oh, really?” Minoru took a bite of gingerbread. Aal hadn’t lied about it being the best on the table - it was fantastic!
“Indeed…”

As she and the girls watch them until they're out of sight.
