1st Annual Halloween Block Party!

Perhaps it's the leaves of fiery golds and oranges drifting on the breeze, or the sight of various hard squash being mangled into festive ornaments, or even still the bowls of candy left out simply everywhere in the Nexus that signifies the import of today. Regardless of when you take heed, Halloween has come to the Nexus.
Neat little handmade signs and fliers of all kinds lead to a particularly festive sectioned off block with the Crossroads Cafe at the center. The brick building has more than its fair share of decorations hung from every available windowsill and door. Hanging skeletons, jolly Jack-O-Lanterns, orange and black streamers cascading down and blowing to and fro in the crisp breeze.
The doors are propped open just waiting to beckon you inside. What are you waiting for?
((See the OOC post if you have any questions! Backtagging and threadhopping are fine. Come on in and have a blast :D ))

"That or there really was just one. I mean who would just bring one of the best candy bars in the known universe." He dusts off his cloak, and he fixes his hat. "And besides, the cranky tinman needed to lighten up a little bit." And then he bites his lip as he sees how far some of the candy ended up going, and the fact he got a tad bit carried away. "And don't worry, I'll replace the candy that was destroyed. I think my friend has some back in the TARDIS."
And he then looks back down at the candy, and he picks up a few of the discarded bars and he puts them back into the bowl. Anything that looks like it might be worth keeping for later ends up being shoved into one of his very deep pockets. And he looks back up to Blaze's costume with a thoughtful look on his face. "And I wonder what a Scarecrow would look like with a fez instead of big old floppy straw hat."
ooc: Totally cool with keeping any old cr these two had btw.

"Well, I don't know what a scarecrow is, but I know you, Doctor." Her visual isn't quite as good from inside the pumpkin helmet, but she's sure. The Titan straightens up to offer him the candy bar she's retrieved, her free hand lifting the jackolyte off so she can tilt her head at him in an Exo smile. Ghost sneaks out to flutter a hello from beneath his knitted unicorn hat. "Nice to run into you again."
((Awesome! I'm good with that!))

And he goes to pick up a non-smushed piece of candy up from the floor, dusting it off on his cloak; he drops it back in the bucket. His eyes then light up when he realizes whom, Pumpkin Face was. The Doctor throws his arms out wide, and he stands there grinning ear to ear. "Blaze! I didn't know it was you under that fabulous looking mask, and that is a very clever looking pumpkin."
He turns his head around, and he waves an excited hand at Ghost. "And you too, Ghost! And that is a fantastic hat!" The Doctor just might borrow it later.
“But you two know me, I’m not very good at staying in one place for long, and some how I managed to find myself here.”

"
It's nice to see you,
Ghost says more shyly. "Although I'm almost surprised it took this long to meet you here.
""Seems like your kind of place," Blaze agrees, releasing the Doctor. "So, are you going to stay a while? We come round to patrol the area pretty regularly."

He whips around to look at Ghost, and he takes off his deer-hunter hat and he motions Ghost over towards him. "I've been a bit busy with a few things." The Doctor blushes a little bit. "And I also brought my good friend Clara with me, if you see her she's dressed up as a shark."
"Oh, this is my type of place, with all sorts of new people and there's even a cafe." And he motions to the people in the cafe. "And I've got plans to hang around and do stuff. What kind of stuff, oh, I don't know. But if there's room for the boogeyman's worst nightmare to park his TARDIS somewhere, I'll find a nice place to kick up these tired old feet and stick around for a bit."
